Alex was sitting in his old office in Engineering. He had gotten some boxes from his office locker. Alex then started to put things in the boxes from his old office and was happy to move on. Once he had gotten everything out of the office of the new Chief Engineer, he sighed. Shortly after that, he had put his box of things from his old office in the chief engineer’s office and used the site-to-site transporter to send it all to his new office. He had also had a pad in his hand, one of which was his list to do to get ready for his new job. But also the other is his final orders as Chief Engineer. The second Pad had stated.

“Dear Ensign MaQmlgh,

I know that it must be difficult to say, but I’m not leaving the ship at all. I’m going ot be in a much different area of the ship than here in engineering. I’m happy to say I’m giving you the position of Chief Engineering Officer of the ship. I’m going to be promoted to XO shortly, hope things go well down here for you as the new chief engineer. I don’t want you to feel frustrated. You have done well under my command here in Engineering. And I feel like it’s about that time to allow you to have that spot and fill it in as I have when I was your Department Head. Don’t worry. I’ll still be on board like I’ve stated, but it’s your department now. I want you to make the department feel as if it is yours, which, of course, it is. I just want you to know that it’s been a pleasure to have been working with you down here, and I want you to make it work well for yourself. Good luck.

Alex had then set the pad down on the desk, which, of course, was his office. He then walked out and headed to the closest turbolift. The doors had then swooshed wide open as he was going to be able to work twice as hard, of course, but was willing to do what was needed for the ship and crew. The doors had then swooshed shut, and he had said “Deck 4”. He said to the computer. The computer then acknowledged the command and started to take him to Deck 4. Later that time, the turbolift had then halted at Deck 4. Doors swooshed wide open for Alex to walk off. He then walked off the turbolift and started to walk to his old quarters. There he had a lot of things to move from to his new one, which is one deck above him. He had sme many boxes in there that he could get everything transported to those quarters to his new XO quarters. He had then finally gotten all the boxes filled and then went over and used the site-to-site transporter to transport everything to the XO’s quarters.
