Drudoc turned from the window and took her seat at the briefing table. “..Alright folks, let’s get settled.” she said, gesturing for everyone to take their seat. “..We got a lot to cover and I hope our assigned JOs on the bridge will be getting us underway momentarily..” she said glancing at the dock clamps nearby out the rear of the ship, “..if not sooner..”

“Yes ma’am.” He said. As he was standing there looking at the commadore, he knew that doing his job was the key thing for the ship and going to this meeting is something he must go too.

T’Mor likewise brought her attention to the Commadore, sitting up in her chair in anticipation for what she would say next.

Ciaran was thinking maybe the mission was massive since it was taking some time for Commodore Andone to speak. Ciaran had not been briefed prior to this meeting on the mission so he would be hearing about it for the first time, just like the rest of the senior staff. He was excited about his first mission as the XO on the Ark Angel.

Rakia stepped into the briefing room. “ Is this the brefing room?” She asked. The Ambassador’s aide was unmistakable she was aurelian. She scanned the room with her striking purple eyes. “ I am Ambasidorial aid Rakia. It is nice to meet you all” She said.

“Come on in,” the Chief of Security Lieutenant Kyle Anders rose and smiled, “We’re just waiting for the Commodore to arrive.”

OOC: I’m taking over here. We have a situation and its been posted.

After watching the Commodore leave the ready room, Ciaran knew he had to step up and address everyone in the room. He then stood up and looked around at who was still in the room. He believed most of the the department heads were still present. He then said, “All, we have had a situation come up and Commodore Drudoc is going to be stepping down at this time from the Ark Angel. I know everyone has become use to the commodore for everything. She had been a member of the Ark Angel for a number of years. We are going to have a change of plans and will be heading back to Starbase 243. I am currently acting captain and I am going to want to have a meeting with each of you. I trust in each of you and the doing of your jobs but I just want to understand everyone’s situation and to address any issues with Drudoc stepping down. I do not have a ton of details right now but what I know is she is stepping down for a major family issue. I am not sure if I will be made aware of any additional details but I will let people know if I have anything else. Everyone is dismissed and we will be headed to our stations on the bridge in order to make way to Starbase 243. Everyone is dismissed.” Ciaran knew this was going to be difficult but he believed the best thing to do right at this moment is head back to the Starbase 243 and report in. Ciaran also wanted to make sure everyone else left before heading back to the bridge. Once everyone had left, he went ahead and left the ready room and made his way to the captain’s chair.
