While the Lieutenant Junior Grade Beckett was transferred from the Saracen to Spacedock. He was then asked to come aboard the Ark Angel to be the new Chief Engineer on board. He had then smiled at the Admiral who had given this assignment to him and he accepted it. He had then got himself started on packing. Once he got packed and whatnot. He had then gotten all of his equipment sent to the vessel on the Ark Angel. He was then later transferred to Starbase 243 and saw the captain on the station. His commanding officer Commodore Andone. He had then nodded and introduced himself.

“Excuse me sir. I’m Lieutenant Junior Grade Alex Becket. Wanting to report on before I go to my duty station sir.” As he handed the commodore his pad that has his duty assignment and his service record on it. He knows that as an officer he knows that his first best destiny is to keep the ship going and is one piece. No matter how hard and difficult the mission is. Lieutenant Becket was sure of himself that he’ll do what he can to get himself up and ready for his new duty station on board the Ark Angel and see his department. As soon as he knows that he’s gonna get some junior officers under him he knows that running this department means a lot to him.

Drudoc looked up from where she had been meeting with a few other new arrivals near the one docking ports for the large Mythology class Ark Angel. Handing a PADD back to an NE who nodded and boarded without another word, the Romulan woman turned to face the Lieutenant. “..Hello Lieutenant.” She said taking the PADD and looking it over, “..Ah our new chief engineer. Welcome aboard Lieutenant Becket.” She said signing off on the PADD and handing it back to him, “..I hope you’ve read up on the Mythology class explorer, she’s a big ship with a lot to give and manage. I saw there your last posting was the Saracen? One of the older Pendragon battlecruisers unless I missed my guess.” She said.

”..Do you see any issues transitioning from smaller combat oriented vessel to a much larger multi-role explorer?” She inquired.

“No ma’am. Not at all. I’ve been wanting to go from the Pendragon to a Mythology class. Kinda wanted to have a step up from a smaller vessel to a much bigger vessel. However, I’ve been wondering if I have anyone under me for engineering. Is there anything I should know before I go to my duty station on board?” Becket asked looking at his commanding officer knowing that if any questions are to be asked it’s better asking before anything.

Drudoc gave a quirk of a raised eyebrow at his question about people being under him, “..The engineering department aboard the Ark Angel is 266 assorted officers and non-commissioned officers, which you’ll be in charge of bringing the total to 267. So yes, Lieutenant you’ll have people under you..” She stated. “..Mostly all are non-commissioned ranks, or ensign and a few junior lieutenants like yourself. All of our full Lieutenants and three Lieutenant Commander ranked engineers got reassigned after our last mission.” she stated. “..Typically the Ark Angel runs four six hour shifts through the day and night to give more training and less stress on all crew members in any department. Though if a mission requires we will switch to a three 8-hour shift rotation.”

”..Any other questions?” she asked.
