Ciaran had dropped off his stuff at his quarters and decided it was time to actually check in with the Commodore even though they had already spoken when Ciaran was entering the ship. He left his quarters and headed to the captain’s ready room. After arriving, straightened his uniform, he then hit the chim on the door. He waited for a response from the Commodore.

”..Enter!” Came from within.

Ciaran just waited for a moment and then entered the ready room. He noticed the Commodore was sitting at her desk. He then walked to her desk and said, “Lt Cmdr Donoghuei, your new executive officer. I am here to official report in. I look forward to working with you and the ship.” Ciaran was nervous but wasn’t. He had done this a few times previously but it was always the hardest way to come aboard a new ship. This was the firs time doing it as an executive officer as this was his first XO position. He was looking forward to making this move upwards after being a DH for a long time. He did not want to screw this up. He waited for the Commodore to respond.
