It was about 9 days after their last mission, the Ark Angel was currently docked for the last day at Starbase 243. As had become well ingrained tradition on the Ark Angel a post mission celebration was being held in the large open double deck 17/18 Forward. As was also common the celebration had an optional theme to it. In this case people who wished to participate in the theme were expected to dress up in some way that embodied pirating or other illegal activity of an era of the participants choosing.

OOC: Aka this can be from Earth or make up something that fits with a trek race etc.

Anyone who did participate would then be judged by the ship’s children crew from the pre-school to 3rd grade. The top 3 winners would get some kind of prize. The idea was that these children learn about history and the impact one way or another that these pirating/illegal activities had on history for better or worse. Obviously child appropriate attire and the like were required.

This celebration of course would run from 1000 hours in the morning until 1900 hours in the evening with the judging by the children around 1130 in the morning. Food, refreshments, and such were provided by the ship’s staff for those off duty throughout the day. There would also be promotions, awards, and other recognitions given by Commodore Andone during this time.

“Maybe I have time to put on a prosthesis,” Gavin murmured as he strolled into 17/18 Forward in his 19th-century Earth Pirate costume. The doc wasn’t fond of the ancient side of human history, and their brutal ways, but he was sure the kids would get a kick out of the costume.

The CMO doted a brown leather pirate hat, with a black feather attached to its side, a loose undershirt with a light blue vest on top, then loose grey trousers, and black boots. Gavin had decided against augmenting a peg leg to himself but knew some would find, interesting, the fake replicated parrot attached to his shoulder.
