USS Ark Angel
[Pre-Sim] Reporting to the CO

Sliding her kit from her shoulders, Jasmijn glanced about her quarters, but she found little concern for them at the moment. Taking in a soft breath, she brushed down her uniform, in effort to remove any wrinkles that may have accumulated through her long trip from a nearby Starbase. Adjusting the collar of her top, she made certain her hair was pulled back into a proper do, her appearance somewhat presentable, for her first day on the Ark Angel. After all, she didn’t wish to be showing up to the Captain’s office, looking like a fool who had no idea how to dress herself.Stealing one last look at the our haphazardly laying against the slightly ruffled sheets of her newfound bed, she headed for the door, stepping into the hallway with a gentle sigh. Nodding to one of the passing NEs, she turned on her heel, in search for the Captain’s Office.. Luckily, she actually knew where that was located. Along the winding paths of the ship, she walked, heading directly for a single destination, thinking, all the while, of who the Captain truly was. Of course, she was given a name, a basis to go off of, although a name didn’t say much about a person, contrary to the belief of superstitious people.
Rounding the corner, she stepped into the turbolift, ascending the decks in silence, her mind ever different from the quiet which dare to surround her in its fragile embrace. Doors hissing open before her, she slid from within them, taking a glance down from the turbolift. It was habit of hers, to familiarize herself with her surroundings. After years of serving for the Starfleet Marine Corps, she grew used to being required to know the most significant of details around her, in case they might prove useful– regardless of how safe an environment already was.
With her face slowly returning to its casual expression of some odd mixture of fire and stone, she found herself standing before the door of the Captain’s office. A part of her wondered if she would be able to catch the captain here, knowing how busy they could happen to be. Pushing away the thought, she pressed her hand to the chime, telling herself she was ready to find what awaited her.
