Luna caught her breath at the sight of the lab. It’s was more than enough to make her sick.

Speaking of said pack Luna could see all 7 of the pack three males, and four females of varying age arrayed defensively near this area. They were under solid cover, using both rocks, and overturned rubble and tables to prevent any easy line of sight attacks. Low guttural growls warned that any further into the area would likely result in an attack. A series of beeps weakly came from the console, and over a burst of static in an alien tongue they could not understand something was spoken or perhaps given information. the lead male wolf, barked in a snarling manner towards the console, as if objecting to whatever the alien words or said. There was another series of alien words say and the wolves remained in their bunkered fashion waiting to see what the invaders would do.

Luna getered to send her team back put her phaser in its holster and knelt down. ” It’s ok we aren’t here to hurt you. Please come with us let us help you” She said holding hand out she waited. She felt bad for these animals they were victims of a horrible experiment and they seemed intelligent. Maybe she could reason with them.

The wolves looked at it as if the ‘words’ spoken were disagreeing with them, but then they seemed to relax slightly and moved some away from that area as if to let Luna approach there. Though she was still under a heavy stare.

The scans meanwhile that Thomas was doing confirmed the grey/silver toned matter in the tanks matched the metal shard they had pulled from the bull.

Luna moved carefully to the console. She was slow and keept her eye on the wolfs as she did once there she would look Over the Console. She looked to the wolfs. Thinking befor gesturing for the rest of the team to enter. ” I need an engineer to take a look at this. Dont make any suden movmenbs and dont point your wepins at them” she instructed. She hoped she was making the right call.

As Luna got close enough now to the console she could see it was likely a control interface, as well as something maybe like a life support status. The language was alien to her as were the symbols. But if the convention of ‘red’ and ‘green’ meaning bad/good respectively she could see icons of what seemed likely 8 other tubes now crushed were in red status. While the two remaining undamaged tubes were green, and the third partly leaking one with cracks was in a dimmer but still present green. Otherwise for what m ight be power status was a brighter red signal. Judging from this if it was correct she could possibly theorize that whatever powered this alien machinery was at a critical powered status and likely damaged/on the verge of failure. Conversely she could imagine that the damaged tube which likely held the nanites in the wolves originally had sought out the pack when it dwelt here for some purpose of survival when their container had beem partly damaged.
