“Our readings are limited, we can only scan approximately 15.24 meters ahead. I am unable to confirm any current wolf activity. However, evidence suggests they have been here recently.” she said out loud, so Ensign Luna was informed as well. Then T’Mor paused, taking some noticeably deeper breaths than usual. Hands slightly shaking, she reviewed the information one more time.

“We either need better equipment, or to go in manually.”

Raith saw the trembling in T’Mor’s hands and heard her deep calming breaths. Was she scared? Perhaps apprehensive would be more appropriate. Still, for a Vulcan, that was concerning. “Pthak nam-tor wuh pak t’ ozhika, wuh toripik pak t’ olozhikaik nel-dath <Fear is the loss of logic, the voluntary loss of logical patterns.>” Raith whispered encouragingly to her, hoping to help her along. “Don’t worry about getting to far into the thick of it. We’ll have Ark Angel beam us all out if things get too hairy. I don’t expect it to however.” The last part may not have been entirely truthful, but Raith was sure they could handle what the wolves threw at them.

T’Mor looked up at Raith, acknowledging his words with a quick nod. Now was not the time to lose control. This situation called for calm and logic. She had to be ready to respond when Luna gave the word.

OOC: Going to assume you all move ahead to keep this moving.....

With Luna and Raith taking point and their NE guard at the rear most spot sheparding the rest in between, the team would move ahead down the cave passage. The incline was slight but no trouble. Though the height of the passage lowered a bit making everyone duck slightly in places to avoid angled hanging rocks, etc.

As they were now about 30 some feet deep underground, they came around a slight wider bend in the passage to find that it seems a disturbance in the past weeks in the ground had opened up a sizable secondary slope and natural passage in the earth ahead. Opening about 8 feet or so wide they could see a faint dim glow of blue, green, and yellow from somewhere out of side in the new passage. Tracking the wolves also showed their recent passage had come this way heading deeper. Tricorder scans also picked up signs of artificial machinery and constructions indicating possibly some kind of old buried structure lay ahead......
