Jute inclines his head agian, “You do not sir? I find it an effective way of managing my time. I am able to get more work done with well managed hydration.” He offers to Lt. Anders with a friendly smile.

“I’ll have to keep that in mind lad,” Anders said with a small chuckle, “Take a seat, please, and tell me? What made you join up with Starfleet as a Security Officer in the first place?”

Sivas stands for a moment longer before moving his bulk into the chair and uncomfortably attempts to look comfortable.

“I’m good with my hands, but to clumsy to be an engineer. After my time in prison, I wanted to do some good. A path of redemption if you will.” He shifts in the chair.

“I never want that old life back. I’ve used my fists and my strength for nefarious reasons in the past. I want to prove I can do at least a little good. Sir.”
