Kaden looked at the ensign and through for a second, ‘There has to be some way we can look at this without transporting it away. I think I have an idea’. He looked over at Ensign Buchingham and said, “Could we not do a scan on the item with it inside the animal? This might be a less harmful way to determine what it is.” Kaden was hoping this would provide some data and not harm the animal but wanted to get it cleared before doing anything. He did not want to undermine the medical officer as it was no his forte.

“I suppose we could” Buckingham answered after a moments thought. He was thankful for the CE’s input, the suggestion made Buckingham feel less alone in his decision making “At this point, almost anything is better than risking the alternative” He added.
