Sivas crossed the threshold of sick bay. His busy morning keeping him moving from one end of the ship to the other.

“Ensign Jute reporting for Star Fleet mandated medic as per new crew member handbook.” He says voice a high pitched whisper.

NE Nurse Ratchet look him in the eyes and smiles; warm, friendly yet professional.

“Of course please take a seat on a free bio bed someone will be with you shortly,” she looks him up and down, “you might have to bend you knees.”

He smiles back, “I am very tall.”

He takes a seat and waits.

“Ensign Jute?” LtJG Stacey called out, exiting his office with a PaDD in hand. Gavin stopped in the doorway and noticed the only patient being seen sitting on a nearby biobed. “You must be Sivas Jute, our new security officer?” The CMO asked rhetorically. The doctor opened up his tricorder to begin scans of the new Ensign.

Jute sits up in the chair. “I am indeed the new security officer…” He stops speaking once he realises it wasn’t actually a question he needed to answer.

“I’m Doctor Stacey, the Ark Angel’s Chief Medical Officer,” Gavin stated as he began twirling the tricorder wand at the Ensign’s head. “Is there anything that’s not currently in your medical file that you wish to add?” The CMO asked.

“Nice to meet you doctor. Broken Radius six years ago, and broken nose two years ago. But those are on my file. I have no other conditions as far as I know.” His voice quiet and high pitched like a kettle boiling in another room.

Gavin nodded in return as he continued waving the wand down towards the Ensign’s abdomen. “How’d you receive those broken bones?” Doctor Stacey asked, curious to what the man’s response would be.
