Finding the security office was considerably easier now. Jute felt more at ease after his conversation with the Commodore. It is quite the change from waiting at Starbase 243 in his cramped bunk with NE Jenkins as his bunk mate. Looking down at his PaDD; a to do list. He’d already checked meet the Commodore and embark onto the Ark Angel. Next he noted was meet the security chief. One Lieutenant Kyle Anders. He was lost in his thoughts as he entered the security office.

A Bolian security ensign was sat at the desk. She looks up at Sivas. “My,” she stutters, “you’re a big one, can I help you.”

Sivas looks down at the NE and smiles his most friendly smile. ” I am here to meet with Lieutenant Kyle Anders. My name is Ensign Sivas Jute. I am the new security officer.” His voice high pitched but exuding confidence.

“Ah I see, well welcome aboard. The office is just at the back past the brig.” She gestured in the direction of the office. “Welcome aboard again Sivas. Go on now.” She smiles at him. A smile of someone practiced in the art of smiling when needed.

“Thank you.”

Sivas walks to the office and rings the bell.
