“Erm…” With only a moment to think, he gave his reply: “=/\=I’ll be staying planet-side, so I can help with this Surgery, Bucky. Please keep me apprised of any new developments. Buckingham Out. =/\=

As long as they remained inside the Barn, Buckingham couldn’t foresee any potential issues.

“On my way!” Buckingham shouted to the woman. As he picked his Medkit which he’d placed on the floor by his feet and ran up to Barn 3.

Just as Buckingham started running towards the barn, his combadge chirped, “=^= Anders to Buckingham, hope you’re ready for a bit of company lad, Commander Kane, Saatyyn, Buchanan and I will be on our way to your location shortly to investigate some sort of anomaly we’ve detected since you’ve been down there. =^=”

-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-

”=/\= Understood Sir. Caution is advised though, we are in the process of preparing a Bull for surgery - it’s probably best for all concerned if we can avoid… exciting the Animal too much. =/\=”

Once Thomas got up to the barn, he found the two ladies waiting for him at a larger enclosed nearby stall. In it hoisted by heavy ropes, and a padded chain and heavy leather harness the bull had already been put to sleep it seems and setup in such a way to allow maneuvering by the hoist and pully system to lay it upon a table or change other angles of its sleeping form for surgery or inspection. The younger farm helper spoke, “..He’s all setup for surgery then, if you could monitor its health signs with your scanner there we can begin the surgery to remove the foreign object.” She said.

The older woman added, “..The ole bull here is under heavy sedation, and already given some heavy pain and nerve numbing medications. Best you can do is hand us tools there on the side table, and monitor it for any sign of distress, waking up or such as we proceed.” She explained pointing to a variety of tools and surgerical items for such a purpose from the mid-1800s and early 1900s.

“Sure thing, no problem” He said.
He walked over and stood by the tray of tools. He had to try his hardest to not grimace as he looked upon the tray of implements. This really was a world away from what he was used too. He’d only ever read about tools like these, so he supposed it would interesting - if slightly gory - to see them in use.
Standing by the tray he rested his medical field kit on the ground by his feet, took his tricorder out of its holster and opened it up.
“I believe I’m ready when you are.”
