Once the trio had reached the briefing room, Andone was already sitting at the head of the table. “..Ah good, Lieutenant Anders, Ensigns Raith and Luna, take your seats. Upload any scans you have of your wolf encounter. I want a full debrief from you two before we relay anything to the colony council.” She said

“I think Lieutenant Stacy’s still down there with Mr. Stiles ma’am, said something about having a meeting with the colony council directly.”

Raith did as ordered and uploaded what he had been able to get, which unfortunately was not a lot. Raith waited patiently for his turn to debrief Andone. he had already updated Anders on the way over with the details. Cybernetic wolves appeared, with no trace of them on the scans. They attacked in a coordinated pattern which seemed to show either some intelligence or intelligent control. seeming resistance to phasers, but not immunity.

Kyle whistled, “Blimey Ensign, you did a fine job holding yourself up against those things.”

” the only warning we had that they were coming was the smell of wet fur, and the quiet of the animals around us” Luna added.

Drudoc looked through the readings limited as they were. “..Well based on the scans we can for sure rule out obvious suspects like the Borg or similar cybernetic threats..” she said. “..The Ark Angel would be picking up any transmission bands into subspace for such a connection. There would also be a power curve residue in the area planet side of any such things once scanned, none of which have shown up..” she went on.

Turning to a 2 second scan Raith had gotten of the wolves when they first appeared and come out of their visual cloaking she spoke again, “..The scans of their stealth or cloaking means also fails to match any known targets. So we can rule out Orion pirates, Romulan or Remans or Klingons as well..” she pondered.

At Luna’s comment of the wet fur and quiet smaller animals Drudoc nodded, “..This implies they’re a known threat to the local wildlife either both before and after this augmentation. The wet fur implies too before their attack they came from somewhere wet that had enough time to dry a bit but not enough to cancel out smell..” she said.

”..Ok so Ensigns,” She said to Raith and Luna, “..give me your observations of the brief attack, what were you doing at the time just before and during it?” she asked.

Turning to Anders while waiting for Luna and Raith to reply to her query she said, “..Lieutenant, run a scan of the surrounding landscape from the direction of the wolves out to a range of say 10km. Any source of likely origin points they pack could be laired in?” she said.
