Gavin nodded in agreement. Since the cattle were transported to the ship, and soon to the new location, the CMO assumed that Ensign Buckingham was out of harm’s way as well.

”..I would prefer the presence of your medical officer if they don’t mind? I am sure your Commodore would want her security officer back on the ship to see what we’re up against here.” he said.

Kyle nodded, “Makes sense, in which case, I better get back!” Anders straightened his uniform jacket and tapped his combadge, “=^= Anders to ArkAngel, one to beam back. =^=”

A second or two later the transporter beam whisked Anders from sight leaving Stacey alone with Stiles. “..Well then shall we continue?” He asked.

“Lead the way, sir,” Gavin said smiling. The CMO certainly didn’t know what to expect in this meeting, but there would be a lot to talk about. The most burning questions would be how these wolves were cybernetically altered, who did it, and why? Certainly, there weren’t any outside disputes on the planet, so the culprit must be internal.

Stacey was soon quickly with Stiles jogging down the street and soon entered an administration building nearby. They were quickly processed through the entry hall into what seemed a large conference room in a half moon shape and table with 4 others present 3 women and another man. Stiles took his seat to the right most spot, indicating a chair for Stacey to sit at.

”..Thank you for coming Mr Stiles. The council here just got your update on current events. The Ark Angel has also alerted us to the status of our nearby farmers and live stock to this event. As you ordered we have initiated a safety lock down for all residents both in the main colony area and outlying farms. All units have checked in to secure status, there is as of yet no further reports of any threats, though launched camera drones do show indications of the area in question with disruptions of what could have been the indicated wolf packs..” One of the older women said sitting further to their left and showing this all on the screen in a play back.

”..Did we receive scans yet from the Ark Angel from their security team?” the other man asked, who wore a pair of tan shirt and pants.

”..Not yet Commodore Andone said they would be contacting us shortly once they settled things above..” another woman in the middle area said.

Sighing Stiles rubbed his brow, “..It is strange given the initial reports. Who or what could augment the native wolf population like this? And to what end?” he questioned opening the floor for anyone to speak including Stacey.

“The Federation does have a ban on augmentations,” LtJG Stacey stated, leaning forward in his chair, “…and I’m not sure the Borg would find much use in animal drones…” The CMO stated as he thought of likely culprits. “Has any outsiders come to the colony within the past few months?” Gavin asked. He was sure if they had to visitors recently, that the culprit might just be a local.
