Kaden thought for just a second and responded =/\=Yes Commodore. I will get the relay up and running to above the 90% Star-fleet minimum. I will report in when everything is up to spec. Lt Buchanan out.=/\= Kaden then went back to starting a diagnostic on the shield relay to try and determine what is causing the poor performance. Kaden knew the computer was active and he went ahead and said, “Computer, while i’m running the diagnostic, can you give me details on what specifically is going on with the shield relay to account for the 62% capacity? ” He waited for a response form the computer, if it provided one, in order to get the power up on the shield relay. He also waited on his tricorder to provide some data, hopefully. He wanted to get back to the ship but knew he needed to complete his job here first. He then waited for some information.

There was a generic beep from the console at his query, =/\= There is a failure in deflector resolution emitter relays 18-23, which is causing the reported degradation system wide. =/\= It said, and indeed the soon to arrive diagnostic confirmed this report by the computer. Buchanan and his NE’s would need to get into the tight service crawl ways to shimmy on their backs to get to the appropriate areas to replace said relays. Thankfully such could be fashioned from the Ark Angel’s machine shop in a few minutes once he sent over the scans of which ones needed replacement.

Kaden was happy to know it was going to be something very simple to correct to get the relay fully working. He then hit him comm badge and said, =/\=Lt Buchanan to Ark Angel engineering, I am uploading the information about the issues with the relay in order to be fashioned and transported over so we can complete this repair. Let me know when the item is ready for the repair. Buchanan out.=/\= Kaden knew it would take a few minutes to get the replacement. He looked over at the NEs and said, “I am going to make my way down to the location where the replacement will be put in place in order to get this relay back to fully working order.” He then turned and began to make his way down to the location where the replacement will be put in place when it was completed.
