Sunny smiled again and was about to reply when, suddenly Ander’s comm badge chirped and Luna’s voice over the comm line spoke sounding a bit stressed or something, =/\= Luna to Chiff of security we need back up now=/\= she said, the location she was at was a few miles away at the farm where they had gone to help out with the wolves.

Stiles looked shocked at the idea of trouble, and looked to see how Anders would react.

Kyle suddenly became very alert and tapped his combadge quickly to respond, “=^= Luna, come in, can you create some distance between you and the wolves until I get to your location? May take me a few minutes unless I can find transport. =^=”

“How aggressive are these wolves?” Dr. Stacey asked, turning from Anders back to Stiles. The CMO was rather surprised that a security team would need backup for some wolves unless they didn’t bring weapons with them.

While pocketing a phaser and prepping himself to get moving quite quickly, a sudden thought hit Anders, “It’s not like Luna to get overwhelmed by something as easy to overcome as a wolf, I get the feeling something else is going on here,” he cast a wary glance to the CMO.

Not long after Kyele’s comment Andone’s voice came to their comms, =/\= Andone to Lieutenant Anders and Stacey, the farm fencing repair teamd with Ensign Luna and Raith have been beamed back to the Ark Angel due to an unkown attacker, we have also safely beamed aboard the nearby colonists working the fence line. Alert Mr Stiles if you could. =/\= She said.

”=^= Acknowledged Commodore, Anders out. =^=” Kyle wheeled on his heel and relayed the information to Stiles before quickly adding, “If you think it’s prudent sir, I can go and investigate this unknown attacker?”

Stiles looked on in concern. “..It sounds like your ship Captain has gotten any of the colonists away from the unknown attacker. You may do as you wish but I would suggest putting the colony on alert and the farms outside..” Stiles said hurrying to a nearby pole which held a red-blue colored toned box and console and quickly flipped it open to begin rapidly typing upon it.

“I should go, I’m armed enough to take it on,” Kyle held the hilt of his phaser with one hand and tapped his combadge, “=^= Anders to Andone. Ma’am, with your permission, I’d like to investigate this unkown attacker on behalf of the colony, am I likely to lose coms if I go too far out? =^=”

“Are there any injuries?” Gavin called out over the COS’s call to the Commodore. LtJG Stacey then turned to stiles. “Is there anything that might be out there besides wolves, Mister Stiles?” The CMO asked.

Once Stiles got off the comm call with someone he turned, “..Only major threat we ever had out that way were from the wolf packs when they got slim pickings on their normal wild prey, the problems we had of late were more strange though. But they were still wolves..” he said, “..I’ve iniated a colony wide alert, everyone is to avoid that area and head in doors from their current locations. Local security forces are assembling at the barracks. No word yet on any injuries.” he said

Then a comm beep from Anders’ and Stacey’s badges came, =/\= Andone to Stacey and Anders, be advised initalk reports show the wolves that attacked our team were cybernetically enhanced wolves, they are smarter, faster, and have an ability to conceal themselves both on visual and sensory scans. Mr Stiles, we have also safely beamed aboard our team and those nearby on that farm. No one was injured or endangered from the colony. While unrelated to this we also have succeeded in getting your long range comm relay back online.=/\= She said.

=/\= Thank you Commodore, the second part does not matter to us too much at present, but the first part puts alot of my mind at ease. We’ve intiated a colony security lock down and are assembling a security force to go check the area out. =/\= Stiles said.

=/\= I understand your concerns to want to investigate this. But I must urge caution in sending your local forces into this situation. We will shortly follow up on this once we can analyze the scans we collected and debrief the team. We will however would like your assistance once another team goes to the area for those who know the area personally. I’d also like to ask for you or someone else to be willing to beam aboard the Ark Angel so we can review the findings so far. =/\= she said.

=/\= Captain I appreciate that and your help, however my concern now knowing our colonists are safe, is the safety of our livestock. =/\= Stiles replied.

=/\= Stand by…=/\= Drudoc said, a moment later she returned, =/\= Mr Stiles your bovine stock in that area are now safely aboard in cargo bay 4. We can leave them there, or beam them down to a another farm if you like? =/\= She said.

After a moment of a heavy sigh Stiles said, =/\= Find Commodore you win, I won’t send a team out there yet, have the live stock beamed down to the shipping export pends by our main dock landing site where your shuttles landed. I’ll have a group waiting to care for them there. =/\= He said. =/\= I will speak to the Council and decide who if any shall beam aboard your vessel shortly. Stiles out. =/\= He said.
