Buchanan just had to flip the last inputs to start back up the relay and hope it didn’t go boom!

Kaden assumed since none of the alarms were going off and he was still in one piece, everything was running. He did a quick diagnostic in order to confirm his understanding. He then replied to the bridge of the Ark Angel, =/\= Lt jg Buchanan here, I have restarted the relay and everything appears to be functioning. I am finishing a diagnostic and then I will be returning back to the Ark Angel. Buchanan out. =/\=. He then waited for the diagnostic to complete.

With a hum the fusion power plant spun up and was soon feeding power into all systems. A full diagnostic’s check soon came back showing that everything was in acceptable standards and running around 91-97% efficiency. The only system that came back in the slightly lower end of performance was the comm relay’s deflector screen system. Which was showing operational but only at 62% capacity. The deflection screens were obviously important to keep out stellar matter and micro-asteroids and the like. While they were online and doing their job it was at a significant reduced capacity. The diagnostics though did not directly point out the reason why for the low functioning nature. At best it reported their was a misalignment in the six arrays.

Kaden was concerned about the deflector screen system but was happy everything else was running as expected, within Star-fleet specs. He then tapped his comm bag to respond to the Commodore, =/\= Lt Buchanan here, the relay is up and running and all systems but one are running within Star-fleet spec. I would like to take a look at the deflector screen system. I am concerned with it only running at 62% capacity unless you would like me to come back to the ship and leave the repair to the NEs. Having this relay up should help the planet.=/\= Kaden then waited for a response. He did not want to begin the repair himself if the Commodore wanted him back on the ship. The NEs could always do this but he liked to see things through. Fully finish the job before moving on to the next one, was his motto.
