Coming down to the lower area down, the trio entered the comm station’s main fusion plant room and maintenance area. It was cramped naturally given its small needs, so they would need to be careful not to bump into each other. Looking around it just seemed for the moment the main power had been put into standby mode. So running a diagnostics and start up sequence to see if anything else might be amiss would be the first thing he had to do.

When the team got to the lower area, Kaden looked around and it just seemed the relay was just put in standby mode. But he was going to run a diagnostics and then run the start up sequence. He said to the NEs, “I am going to start a diagnostic and then we can start looking at the results to see if we can run the start up sequence.” Kaden went ahead and started the diagnostic to see what the system looked like before started the start up sequence. He wanted to verify this thing was not going to explode during the start up sequence, taking him and the two NEs with it. He waited for the diagnostic to complete to determine the next steps.

Running the diagnostics check, the computer soon beeped displaying that all systems were operating at about 97% efficiency but otherwise were ready to reactivate. Given the age of the station first put here since the late 2340s it was not too surprising.

After the report came up, the NE nearby commented, “..Sir? You ready to fire this up?” he asked.

Kaden looked at the NE and responded, “Yes, since everything seems to be good to go, lets get it started.” As he said that, Kaden went ahead and reached into his pack and pulled out the needed fire supression in case something went bad quickly. He also then hit his communicator and said, “Lt Buchanan to USS Ark Angle, Be prepared to beam us up if I hit my comm bag again please. Just in case something goes bad while we are restarting this relay. He always liked to be double prepared in case something went south quickly.
