Sifeda slowly strolled to the waiting shuttle that had been chartered to transport her as she prepared to depart from the Ark Angel. She had been offered a role back at Starfleet Headquarters and was going to be working in the tactical division. Since that is where her heart was she accepted, with Commodore Andone’s blessing of course. Goodbyes, even for her were hard, so she decided to quietly leave. That way she would not have to show any emotion in front of the crew. As she boarded the shuttle she stowed her bag and took the co-pilot’s seat as she looked at the pilot.
“Are you ready?” he asked.
“Yep. I am ready. Let’s go.” she said.
The pilot activated the flight controls on the shuttle and in a matter of seconds, it eased out of the shuttle bay and then blasted off at warp speed toward Earth.
