Demil walked down the corridors of the Ark Angel briskly, approaching the deck 11 counseling suites. He had requested the block of time from 1430 to 1600 - the last portion of his shift - to be off-duty in order to undergo his required psychological checkup, and then scheduled an appointment for 1435. So here he was now, at the door of the office, pressing the chime. “Ensign Demil Lis reporting for my checkup?”
