[snip]Ensign Baptiste arrived at the Engineering Sickbay to find NE Ellsworth tending to the minor and routine injuries; Baptiste made a snap judgement, “Okay NE Ellsworth move the routine and minor injury treatments to the Port cargo bay on deck 45, NE Nurse Johanson set up a recovery unit in the Starboard cargo bay on deck 45, both of you take the technicians and equipment you will need. NE Holliday continue the triage in the hallway just outside this sickbay, send the green to NE Ellsworth on deck 45 port cargo hold, yellow and red into sickbay, Black line the hallway and keep it clear enough for individuals to move. Get to work people.” With that Johnathan hit his combadge =^=Bridge be advised all casualties need to be routed to Deck 39 sickbay, there they will be triaged. The Port cargo bay on deck 45 will be utilized as a routine and minor injury station, the Starboard cargo bay on deck 45 will be a recovery unit for the seriously injured. Please advise all decks of this, and to be aware that the hallway outside Deck 39 sickbay will be used as a triage site. Ensign Baptiste out.=^=

NE technician Strickland and NE tech O’Donnell arrived at the Engineering Hull Sickbay on Deck 39 with Commodore Drudoc Andone. NE Strickland gave a report, The Commodore has a foreign object impaled into her mouth, it is close to piercing the upper roof. I have provided an iso-protein injection, she has a condition that causes her blood to be thin and not coagulate. We have bee suctioning off blood from her mouth, approximately 40cc. She is unconscious and breathing erratic.” Johnathan nodded and stated get her on the surgical bio-bed, NE Nurse Michaels, you and NE Strickland and O’Donnell prep her for surgery. We are going to need blood.” With that he ordered the computer =^=Computer transfer EMH program in main medical to here and activate both EMH’s to this sickbay. =^= There came the response =^=Confirmed order. =^= replied the computer and instantly two EMH holograms appeared, both stating simultaneously “Please state the nature of the emergency.” Baptiste looked at them both “Main sickbay is offline, multiple injured arriving to this Sickbay, treat the wounded. I am going into surgery on the Commodore.” Johnathan did not even wait for a response from the EMH holograms, he went immediately over to the surgical bio-bed.

OOC: Sooo just a note you could have just moved everyone to sickbay 2 across the opposite end of the saucer from sickbay 1 lol instead of moving here to sickbay 3 heh anyhow!
Both EMHs got to work triaging and working on various other patients. Andone as she was laid carefully onto the bio-surgical-bed was in rough shape. The lower corner of her jaws was in mangled shape from the chunk of console plating had lodged up through her jaw into her mouth slightly piercing her upper mouth/jaw. This had caused the aforementioned worse of blood loss and clogging of blood down her throat and air passages. The suctioning the NEs had done had cleared the worse of this and the iso-protein injection to speed her coagulating of the blood had helped as well. But the coming surgery would be time consuming to carefully extract the lodged console shard not to mention then regenerating the Romulan’s cheek, jaw muscles/bone and such. Minor accessory injuries of the rear of her lower head and upper neck would also need to be addressed later but those could wait.
At the request for Romulan blood plasma NE Michaels came up first from the storage area with said injections in tow. “..Got’em! Thankfully had plenty from her own donation of such a week ago, as well as other members of the crew sharing her blood type among a few of our Romulan refugees we got..” he said setting them down for use soon. “..Should we alert the school shelter where her daughter is at of her mother’s status? I mean she can’t come down here given the red alert lock down still but she might want to know?” he then asked.
Making haste to finish the preparations for the coming surgery by ripping the shoulder and neck covering pieces of the Commodore’s uniform and covering the rest of her with a surgical sheet, NE Strickland chimed in, “..No Michael! Why would you want to worry or scare the poor teen? God man she’s tough sure but the girl has already lost her father twice and now risk loosing her mother too with no other family to go too?!? Are you stupid jeesh!” he said. Turning then to Baptiste he finished, “..She’s ready for surgery then!”
OOC: Since this is my PC I’m going to request you give a little more detail of each major step of surgery you do please :) and not assume they auto succeed ;) Drudoc has a storied past when it comes to injuries like this or worse and I want to continue that to provide more emotional impact both for myself and others, thank you!

Ensign Baptiste took a slow and steady breath. He looked to see that the Surgical Support Frame was in place and properly functioning, not that he thought for a second the surgical team he had selected did not know what they were doing. He then stated =^=Computer, please play my mix of Nina Simone and Norma Tanega surgical mix.=^= After the computer began playing, he looked at his team “This is going to be a long and slow process.” He looked at each of the crew. “Okay let’s start. NE Michaels an exoscalpel, please.” The nurse handed him the requested exoscalpel. “NE Strickland please suction as I cut the console piece in her mouth. I will be making two cuts. The first near the roof but still allowing for a small piece to remain and the other just above the split in her tongue, jawbone and cheek. I will then remove the section we cut to allow free access to the actual wounds, and removal of the foreign bodies. Any questions?” Johnathan looked up and saw his team nod. He then proceeded to cut into the boronite whisker composite of the lodged in console in the Commodores chin, mouth and jaw. “Suction as I cut, ensure you are close to the scalpel, we do not want any of the boronite material entering her air way. NE O’Donnell how does her vitals look?” NE O’Donnell looked at the readings on the Surgical Support Frame, “Currently everything is within norms for a Romulan.” Baptiste nodded “Okay first cut done. Suction her mouth and ensure the airway remains clear.” NE Strickland began another suctioning run into the Commodores mouth clearing the saliva, blood and boronite fragments. NE Michaels continued with her monitoring of the transfusion of plasma and also ensuring the anesthetics were working, the trick being to not overdose the Commodore, but keep her sedated. “Okay now for the second cut NE O’Donnell please take a set of forceps and grab a hold of the piece here.” Johnathan said indicating the spot he wanted the technician to grab with the forceps. “NE Strickland, same as before suction as I cut, this is a longer cut and close to a lot of soft tissue, let’s be careful.” Johnathan slowly cut the rest of the fragment, in a slow precise manner. Once he had finished his cut, he quickly set the exoscalpel down and took the forceps from NE O’Donnell and slowly removed the jagged piece of console from the Commodores mouth. Johnathan looked up at his team, “That was the easy part. Now comes the difficult parts.” How are her vitals?” he asked of NE Michaels. “Stable.” Replied NE Michaels “Okay hit her with another dose iso-protein and monitor her bodies response. I am going to remove the sliver in her palate, damn thing stuck her between the hard and soft portions.” He looked at O’Donnell “Okay I need you to hold the sliver here,” again Baptiste showed the tech where he wanted the forceps, while I work to open and free up the sliver.” He then took a micro-tone and began to make an extremely precise cut in the upper hard palate. Once he had opened up the area, he wanted he again took the forceps from NE O’Donnell and slow removed the sliver of fragment in the commodore’s palate. “Okay NE Strickland suction the area good.” Said Johnathan. He then took a small saline bottle and squirted it into the upper wound as NE Strickland suctioned. Once satisfied the wound was cleaned out Johnathan took an autosuture and began closing the wound in the palate. By now forty-five minutes had passed and the team had only just scratched the damage done to the Commodore.

OOC: Looks like my message to move everyone to the other deck 12 sickbay never got to ya lol no worries.
IC: =^=Bridge, Demil and myself are alright!=^= Gavin called out as he rushed into the Sickbay. =^= It was touch and go there for a moment, but we were able to get everyone out before the decompression. =^= The CMO stopped for a moment and noticed that John was currently working on the CO. =^= What the hell happened up there?=^= He called out as he grabbed a hypospray. =^= Nevermind, I’m going to quickly treat my burns then head to account our injured =^=
Doctor Stacey ended the call and quickly dispensed 2ml of terakine, filled the hypospray, and then applied it to himself. Gavin glanced over and grabbed the dermal regenerator, then made his way over to where John was.
“How long has she been in here?” Dr. Stacey asked, as he applied the regenerator to his burns.
