Finally the computer chirped out a reply to Anders, =/\= Current temporal phasing pattern appears by projections to run between 10.1-20.5 subspace temporal bands, further exact measurement are impossible at this time. =/\= The computer said. In short they would have to try to run a pulse through those band lengths hoping to catch the right one. This would mean several pulses would be needed in rapid succession it was doable but would draw a lot of reserve power currently being fed into the engines and shields.
=/\=Bridge, this is Ensign Buchanan, the computer reports the 10.1-20.5 subspace temporal bands should do the deed to help distract the create to hopefully help the other ship. It is going to require running through the band lenghts but during the running through to find the correct, will take a drain on the engines and shields. I can see about routing addition power to these systems if this seems like a plan. Buchanan out=/\= Kaden reported the findings to the bridge. He started to prepare the systems to re-route power from non-essential systems in order to deal with the drop in power for the engines and shields. He did not start this process but just prepared in case the bridge was game for it. He was hoping his discovery would help the ship out.
A moment later several more shudders from passing near the beast shook the Ark Angel, one quite strong one did no real damage to their shields, but the jolt was enough to do some kind of damage on deck 12. A fact the computer soon alerted those on the bridge, =/\= Alert, EPS relay 16 failure on deck 12, section 19-33, structural failure compromised. =/\= It said. Also shown on the damage report was several NE’s being taken to Sickbay 1 nearby, but that also there was a large scale failure of the fire suppression systems from down the hall allowing the plasma fire to begin to spread further. If someone down there did not get into action quick the plasma fire could spread to the shield generators on that deck compromising shield integrity and if spreading further to deck 11 the lower parts of the computer cores, or down to deck 13 effecting several of the science labs and the shield generators there as well further compromising their shield capacity.
Kaden saw these messages about the damage on deck 12 come across another terminal near the one he was working on. He looked over at it for a minute and said to the computer, “Computer, please analyze the damage to deck 12. We need to see about getting it fixed. Please provide a read out of what is needed to repair the systems.” He waited for a response from the computer in order to hopefully be able to get the damage repaired and prepare for additional damage of the same type.

“Ma’am? Permission to assist with the fire?” Demil requested, already on his feet and pointed towards the turbolift.
Sifeda saw the damage report and knew it was serious. She remained calm and assumed Ensign Lis was addressing her, “Yes, yes! Go quickly.” she said as some evidence of concern escaped from her voice, “Time is of the essence to minimize any further damage to deck 12 and other potential areas of the ship. Please go ensure the fire does not spread to the science labs. As you are aware, Mr. Lis, that is where our shield generators are. It is critical preventive action is taken so they are not compromised. Mr. Lis be careful, it is plasma fire which is dangerous to most species.”
She activated the comm and hailed Ensign Buchanan, “Mr. Buchanan, fire suppression systems are inoperational, the fire is rapidly spreading, and deck 11 which contain the computer core is in the path of its destruction. I hope you are ready to take on multiple tasks. We need to determine the source of the fire. Something must have ruptured to cause it. Next, you will need to get some engineers on deck 11 to ensure that the computer core is not compromised by the fire and you also need to see what you can do about the fire suppression system. And Mr. Buchanan, please be careful.”
Itri, XO
Instinctually, Anders tapped his combadge, “=^= Anders to Luna, report to Deck 11 to assist the engineers, quick as you can lass! Kaden, send your data up to the Security Console on the Bridge, I’ll start working my way through those temporal bands!”
-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-
As soon as Demil left, Sifeda went to the engineering console to determine how she could assist Ensign Buchanan.
The human part of her was permeated with fear, but she managed to contain this outwardly with her Romulan mannerisms and said in a steady voice, “All available engineers on deck 12....uh…section 19-33, looks like there is a failure in EPS 16.” Hopefully, they were aware they needed to put on their protective gear as the EPS was highly radioactive. “We need to repair that EPS relay.” She would rather Mr. Buchanan try to get the fire suppression systems back online so Ensign Lis and Dr. Stacey would have a chance of containing it on the decks they were on. “Mr. Buchanan, work on getting the fire suppression systems back online. Mr. Anders, how are the shields holding up? Can you tell if they have sustained any damage from the fire?”
Itri, XO
=/\=Ensign Buchanan here. I am going to request all available Engineering officers to help our on deck 12. They should be on their way shortly. I am currently working on getting the suppression system back online if possible=/\= Kadan responded to Commander Itri.
Ensign Buchanan then announced in Engineering, “All engineering officers please assist the Science officer and the XO on deck 12, sections 19-33 with the EPS failure. I am currently working on getting the fire suppression system back up and working to assisnt.” Kaden then started pushing buttons on his station and said to the computer, “Please provide as much data as you can with the suppression system on deck 12 please? Why did EPS 16 fail and what can be done to get it back up and running. Can the system be re-routed around the failed EPS unit? ” He then waited for the output from the computer on his terminal. He was hoping he could get the system repaired quickly to help out with the people on deck 12.

OOC: Just to check, does these EPS units affect any important systems? Apologies if this has already been answered.
-Kieron-
OOC: Yes as said above at the top of this post ‘If someone down there did not get into action quick the plasma fire could spread to the shield generators on that deck compromising shield integrity and if spreading further to deck 11 the lower parts of the computer cores, or down to deck 13 effecting several of the science labs and the shield generators there as well further compromising their shield capacity.’ :)
Just as the orders went through and folks moved into action, the double headed snake beast seemed to be getting irritated with ‘something’ aka the Ark Angel that it could not perceive getting in its way to find its prey the Volograd near the cometary debris. As a result both heads lashed out angirly and snapped down hard on the ship’s shields This caused the whole ship to shutter briefly and shields drop from their current 72% to 59%, the sudden impact also caused several systems to short out the biggest right away being that the Captain’s chair that Drudoc sat in had their arm consoles explode into her face. This caused the Romulan CO to slump half out of the chair from the impact of her head to the side of the chair from a deep head injury seeping green blood as well as a big of the console’s covering lodged in her lower chin/mouth by a good inch. She would need immediate carry to sickbay for treatment no doubt.
Just as this all happened the helm NE spoke, “..Urgh, the creature has released us, impulse engines coming back online ma’am, though we’ve lost some motive power..” He commented. It seems the XO was now in the center seat all of a sudden.

Sifeda knew they couldn’t just leave the Volograd and the Forseth ship on their own but she knew they had to put some distance between the Ark Angel and creature until they could at least repair some of their damaged systems. “We need to use evasive maneuvers to get of the line of fire this creature has us in. Also hail the Volograd and the Forseth ship.” She told the NE. After giving these orders she activated the comm and said, =^= Buchanan, ensure repairs to the ship continue! I know you have a lot right now, but we need to get everything back online as soon as possible. “=^= She did not inform his of the Commodore’s condition because she needed him to focus on his tasks.
Ensign Buchanan acknowledged the request from the XO but did not feel a response was needed. He went ahead and started working on the console he was still sitting at and begin to get an inventory of the what is broken and what the status of the fire suppression system was on Deck 12. He was hoping the computer to return some data quickly to allow the Ensign to begin making repairs as needed. Kaden was wondering what was going on up at the Bridge as he had not heard from the Cheif in a while but figured she had things handled from the bridge.
Anders eyes went wide as he watched the CO slump lower in the centre chair, “=^= Anders to Sickbay, medical emergency on the Bridge! The Captain is down, I repeat the Captain is down! =^=”
-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-
Sifeda quickly hurried to assess the Commodore, she carefully placed her hand on the her forehead, unphased by the blood that was dripping from her head. She carefully lifted her chin so she could see the extent of the injury. “The console cover is lodged significantly deep her chin.” She knew the Commodore could not stay in the chair, in that position. “We need to remove her from this chair and lay her on her back to ensure it does not go further, until medical arrives. Be careful, keep her head steady and chin up.”
Itri, XO
NE IDMT technician Strickland and NE medical technician O’Donnell arrived on the bridge just as the bridge crew were placing the Commodore on the deck. NE Strickland stepped up to the Commodore and XO Sifeda “Sir please step aside and allow me, and NE O’Donnell do our jobs.” He requested. NE O’Donnell brought up a grav sled stretcher and set a med pack down as NE Strickland began doing both a physical assessment of the Commodore. He winced when he opened the Commodores mouth and could see the console cover edging into the upper palate of the mouth. It was a risk, but he made a snap judgement looking at the XO he inquired “Are the Transporters offline?” he prayed to God they were not.

Mar stood up and moved to the XO. “Please, Ma’am. Let Medical do what they need.” She reached for the XO to help her away. It was a two fold reason, she did it. One was to be sure the XO would back away. The other was to be sure the Second in Command was all right. Her own right cheek was blossoming into a bruise where she had fallen and landed on her upraised hand. It was starting to look like a large Orion had clocked her upside the head. She felt the headache coming but fought through it. Now wasn’t the time for petty aches and pains. “Ma’am, we need to see to the rest of the ship.”
Glancing up at Kyle, she nodded. “Let the Volograd and Forseth know we need to back off. We have to recover or there will be two ships stranded in here.” Grateful for those already heading to fight the fire, she knew Security would be on it by now. She took a moment to look over the XO to be sure she was all right.
