Freeman nodded, “..Oh of course not! I am pleased that you and the Ark Angel crew take such security matters as our well being into such high priority and account.” Freeman said as he and his wife, who sighed quietly behind him as they entered their quarters. “..My my! Such space still amazes me aboard a fine vessel as this.” Freeman said looking over the VIP quarters. “..Why I could also move a few things aside and setup my smaller train collection here!” he declared.

” you know iv never understood trains. Thou iv bever been on one. Seem to much like little tin cages to me. Not that i would need to ride a train to get where i needed” She said with a smile hoping to engage the Capten in a conversation about his favored topic.

Rubbing her brow and setting down her own carried things, Freeman’s ‘Dove’ spoke, “..Honestly ‘dear’ let us focus for once? We are here to do a JOB with preparing for possible first contact with the Forseth and to aide the Ark Angel crew to getting to the bottom of the mystery on how they are accelerating so fast. As I keep having to say to you your train obsessions can wait till AFTER this mission like EVERY OTHER mission we do and you act like this is done…” she said in a stern tone that belied her frame. One could clearly see who was really in charge of the family order among this pair. While Freeman clearly held rank vs her civilian work, it was VERY clear that Freeman’s success and ability to focus on a mission when assigned was only due to his wife’s very controlling hand keeping him focused on the tasks at hand.

Freeman turned sheepishly rubbing the back of his head, “…Of course my lovely Dove, of course. You are as always quite right on that. I just get so enthralled with my hobby you know..” he said.

Waving the matter off, the wife turned to the two security officers, “..Yes of course you are dear, anyhow thank you two for getting us settled here. I can manage the rest for now though we may request your presence later. Could you please assist our aide in his own settling in? He can also answer any questions you have on what little we have collected on the Forseth if you are interested..” she said.

“I’d appreciate that ma’am, I’ll leave Ensign Luna here in your company for a moment while I assist your aides in the room next door. Should you need anything, I’m only a combadge tap away,” then, taking a moment to make sure his wife was out of ear shot, turned to Captain Freeman and whispered, “I think a route encompassing the entire room should do the trick.” He winked and strode out of Suite One and knocked on the inside wall of Suite 2, “Can I be of any help in here?” Kyle asked brightly.

-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-

A look of worry crossed luna’s face. Was Kyle really going to leave her Alone with the ambassador and his wife. The Wife was not so bad. nether was the ambassador but she did not know how ti respond to him. The transportation talk was a little over her head.

Freeman seemed about to launch into one of his train talks with Luna again as Anders left when the XO came into the room.

Sifeda stepped off the turbo lift and spotted Ensign Luna and Lieutenant Anders talking to Captain Freeman. She strolled up with a welcoming closed mouth smile. “Captain Freeman, I see you have met our fine security team.” She gestured toward Anders and Luna. “Lieutenant Commander Sifeda Itri, sir. I apologize for not being able to greet you upon your arrival. As I am sure you are aware, we are preparing for our next mission, but of course, we made sure you were in good hands.”

”..Oh it is quite alright Commander Itri! Your fine Ensign Luna has been a charming host and attendant for us since arriving. Why I was just about to tell her about…” he began but then his wife sighed giving him a nudge with her left elbow and he quieted.

Sifeda noticed the nudge and nodded at the Captain as she said, “I am glad to hear it, sir.” She gave Luna a quick pat on the shoulder to show her gratitude.

Luna relaxed when the XO appeared just in time. ” hello Commander.” she said.

Ensign Luna.

“Hi…Ensign Luna,” Sifeda stopped short in calling her just Luna. She didn’t want to give the Captain an sense of informality on the ship. “How is Cerenity? Feel free to bring her to the bridge later on so she can observe all the operations while we are enroute to the J17 system., for I feel when we reach the system she wont have a chance on the bridge until after the successful completion of our mission.”

” Giving her instructers a run but she has been pritty good. I will try to bring her but with the ambasitor onbord im afraid my scedual will be vary hectic.” She said.

Freeman’s wife looked a bit surprised at the XO’s comment, “..Your Commodore Andone allows children onto her bridge during work shifts? I know Mythology class ships have well trained crews and such for handling civilians but I was not aware procedures allow them such free reign onto the ship?” She inquired.

“You are correct Mrs. Freeman. Generally, children are not allowed on the bridge during work shifts, however, if you ever have a chance to meet Luna’s daughter, Cerenity, you will understand why I am willing to allow such an exception.” Sifeda realized that she needed to clear the proposal with the Commodore as she spoke, “I also assure you she will not have free reign and she will not be present on the bridge for an extended period of time.”
She looked at Luna, then at Mrs. Freeman again said, “I think, in Cerenity, we have a future engineer on our hands. She has shown impressive aptitude in the dismantling and reassembling of various objects. I think it’s fascinating when children take an early interest in the operations and functions of Starfleet. I am just trying to promote her interest in hopes that one day she will indeed join Starfleet and join in whatever capacity she sees fit.” It

” im not so sure about the two of you meeting Cerenity is a possibility at the moment. Its nothing against eather of you personally. I dont know ether of you vary well and im not willing to risk her safety.” Luna said Gentaly.

Kyle turned from inside the door when he heard the Commander’s voice and smiled, “Ahh don’t worry ma’am, I get the feeling the Captain and I will have a lot to talk about while I’m on duty, excuse me for a minute won’t you?” Anders wheeled and headed back into the aide’s room.

Sifeda gave Lieutenant Anders a nod and smile.

Now addressing Anders she said, “Very well, Lieutenant. I am going to head to the bridge and get an update on our ETA to the J17 system. She gave a quick nod and headed to the turbo-lift.”
