Sitting in the chair, she tapped a couple keys on the arm rest. “Status report?” She said, and looked to the various faces on the bridge. She knew they were on their way to J17. But not much more than that. Hey eyes started to scan the logs that appeared on her small side console as she assisted awaited the update from the others.

”..Not much to report ma’am,” the NE at helm said, “..currently on route to the J17 system ETA at current speed about 36 hours..”

Just then, Travis entered the bridge and headed over to tactical. He relieved the other Security Officer and took the post. Hearing the previous question as he entered the bridge, he answered. “From a tactical standpoint, everything looks good. I’ll get caught up and update you when I have something to report.” Replied Travis ready to perform his first shift on the Ark Angel.

Sifeda stepped onto the bridge and asked, “Any updates on our ETA?” While she waited on an answer, she gave her own update for everyone on the bridge, “All departments are working on various theories to pin down the Forseth’s rapid evolution. It has been suggested we use a probe…uh a passive probe to see if we can gather any additional data. However it has been agreed that we cannot do much until we are much closer to the star system.”

Beyond the above ETA there was not much else to report until the science and engineering folks got their probes ready that they could launch then.
