Lieutenant Kyle Anders was proud of the way he and his team had handled the last few tactical drills he had undertaken in order to prepare them for the escort mission for Ambassadorial Captain Freeman. Anders didn’t know much about their incoming guest, other than the warning from Commodore Drudoc that the man had a tendancy to talk at a rate that would surprise any human toddler. Kyle figured that this mission would prove to be interesting on multiple fronts; thus he was looking forward to it regardless.

Arriving at Transporter Room 2 alongside Ensigns Wyndham and Mcyntyre, Kyle found himself checking his uniform in any deck plate reflection he could find, “What do we think lads, think I’d make a good Ambassadorial Captain?”

“I think the rank is just ceremonial sir,” Wyndham grinned and found himself straightening his uniform, “Though I think we all scrub up reasonably well.”

Anders nodded in agreement and turned to the crewman manning the transporter controls, “How long until our guests arrive?”

” Hopefully not to soon Sir” Luna said walking is she was recently fighting to get her hair back into a proper bun.

” I’m sorry, I may have gotten a little side tracked” Luna said with a smile as she finally got her hair fixed.
