It was just after Drudoc’s commands went out for the briefing to come, when another ship wide comm went out, =/\= Ensign Luna, Lis, and Baptiste, and NE Charles. Report to the bridge in 5 minutes, you are to assume command roles there and begin clearance from Starbase 243. Then have helm lay in a course for System J17 at warp 6 and engage. Ensign Baptiste will be acting command officer till the senior staff returns.. =/\= She said.

Since when does a medical Ensign, a Doctor, fresh out of the Academy, get put as ‘acting’ command officer he thought as he hurried to the turbolift, making his way to the bridge.
