“I am sure that made an interesting post-mission report, especially making contact with the crew of the Synthesis and then how they vanished, not even showing up in history. So you were able to establish contact contact with the creature? Did you learn anything particularly useful?”

”..We were post-mission able to make more detailed records of scanning for space borne life vs say a nebula. Hopefully it’ll be of help to other ships in the future..” She said.

She sipped her tea and said, “Do you really think its destroyed, it seemed to be accustomed to survival even under the most extreme circumstances. I bet we have not seen the last of the entity.” Changing the subject a little she said, “I heard you have a child. I cannot wait to meet her.”

”..I hope it destroyed itself. Having a raging creature like that show up anywhere or anytime or reality is disturbing to contemplate. So I do hope it is the last time we hear of that entity. Now as for the surviving pieces that also left, that one I hope finds a better life..” she answered.

“Oh,” said Sifeda as she thought deeply about the trouble the creature must have bought to the ship for the Commodore to wish it’s destruction.

”..My daughter Tel’eck? Yes she is the joy of my life. I am confident you’ll get to meet her sometime soon. She is often doing something with the other children around the ship when not in school..” She said.

Just as Drudoc finished speaking a chirp came in from her desk, hiding the comm button she said, =/\= Andone here..=/\= She said.

=/\= NE Goonts here ma’am, sorry to interrupt but but Admiral Do’lecky is hailing us from the Federation Archeology Center on Midis IV. He wishes to speak to you about some things..=/\= He said.

=/\= Understood Ensign, tell the Admiral I will be answering his hail in a moment..=/\= She said turning to itri, “..Well Commander, I feel we may be getting our next mission orders, since Do’lecky informed me he would have something for us most likely to handle ‘soon’. Unless the Admiral says otherwise, you can either take your leave or remain and listen in?” She asked.

“I hope you do not take this as a lack of interest in the next mission, however I think that is my cue to take my leave. I am sure you will fill me in on the details later.” She said as she stood to her feet. “I have yet to settle in, so I think I will use this time to do that…unless of course you insist I stay.”
