The final Department Head she needed to meet with was Miz’uki, Chief Engineer and a Caitian female. Even in all her years in Starfleet Sifeda had never met an actual Caitain so she was intrigued. It seemed Miss Miz’uki had quite an interesting bio, she was homeschooled before entering Starfleet and it turns out that her grandmother was a Starfleet engineer who invented something called Caitian greaves. Sifeda had no clear idea what they looked like, but she knew they functioned as some type of armor to protect Caitians’ unique leg structures. The thing that stood out the most to her is that she saw she clearly had an aptitude for technology. Sifeda tapped her comm badge and said, =^=“Itri to Lieutenant Miz’uki. Will you please meet me in the conference room on Deck 1?=^=

a few moments later the door opened and Miz’uki walked in She was 5‘8” what could be seen of her fur was a mix of colors mainly Brown Yellow Orange Black White and Grey “Hello Lieutenant Commander I am Miz’uki Former Chief Engineer” she said “I just took a new posting and will be departing the ship very soon” she said simply

“Oh,” said Sifeda surprised, “I wish you all the best then. There is no need for me to hold you here as I am sure you have a lot of packing to do.” She stood from the table and said. “Do you mind me asking where your next posting is?” Truly she was glad she’d caught Miz’uki before she left. Now she could say she’d seen an actual Caitian in real life.
Sifeda mentally added one more task to her list. Find a new Chief Engineer.

“Thank you Commander I am heading up a Ship design and building team at the Jupiter shipyards back in the Sol system we are also apparently going to be redesigning and rebuilding the Utopia Planitia yards as well I am looking forward to it because I am going to be able to settle down with my wife and possibly start a family now” she purred smiling

Miz’uki

When Miz’uki purred and smiled, Sifeda was fascinated by how similar and different Caitians were to the domestic house cat. Somehow Caitians were able to evolve into humanoids, with the ability to speak and think intelligently. However, they retained their feline features wholly which made them quite interesting. “That sounds amazing. Especially the part about starting a family. Good luck to you and your wife. I have to say I am a little jealous because I always wanted a family but I guess it wasn’t meant to be.”
