Turning back she set the two glasses down, sliding one of the shot glasses over to Miz’uki, “..Rigelian Flower Fruit Punch. Its got enough proof that with the right heat it’ll set itself aflame, so careful as it goes down..” she said with a wry chuckle, before tilting back in one go her own shot glass. Shaking her head as the punch of the contents hit her she gasped a bit then set it down. Leaning back then to listen to Miz’uki’s explanation above.

Once Miz’uki had downed her own glass she continued, “..Well Lieutenant, I can certainly understand your reasonings. Had I a choice in the matter I would likely do the same. So I wish you well in your future endeavors. But there is one more thing we need to attend too..” She said, reaching below the desk to slid something out to slide a pair of small black boxes over to Miz’uki. “..I was going to award these two you at our post mission party but obviously this changes things..” she said with a smile.

Once the first, Miz’uki would see two Starfleet Distinguished Service Medals, one was for actions above the line of duty, and the second was a Distinguished Service second class for outstanding engineering service on a ship. Opening the second box, she would find a single hollow gold pip denoting it seems a promotion in rank to Lt Commander. “..You will find in short order your field promotion to Lt Commander, and awards for distinguished service above the call of duty and second class for outstanding engineering service on the Ark Angel in your permanent records by now..” Rising she extended a hand across the desk, smiling now in a genuine manner, “..Congratulations Lt Commander, and thank you always for your amazing service to the Ark Angel and her crew..” she said.

She drained the glass then was presented the awards “Thank you captain! I…I am honored and I hope…One day maybe we can serve together again” she said getting up and offering her paw to the captain to shake “I am going to miss this ship…” she sighed

”..As do I Commander, safe travels to you among the stars. If you need something that I could offer in the future don’t hesitate to contact me..” She said.

“Will do Captain thank you again…Well I better go get packed up!” she said reaching down and attaching the new pip to her collar before grabbing the awards as well once she was dismissed she would turn and walk out of the ready room to go pack her belongings wiping tears from her eyes
