Miz’uki had recovered from her encounter with the blob creature since they had returned to their own time she had gotten a communication from Starfleet and was heading to talk to the Captain she needed to let the captain know what she had decided and as she walked up to the ready room door she scratched her head the fur was still regrowing a bit and it felt weird for her she waited patiently for the captain to answer

A moment later Drudoc’s voice came through the comm, =/\= Enter! =/\= she said.

Miz’uki walked in “Captain I…I wanted to speak to you about something important I hope i am not Inturupting” she purred as she strode in she was looking very nervous

”..Not at all Lieutenant, what can I do for you?” Drudoc asked giving the Cait’ian woman her full attention.

Miz’uki came and sat in a chair in front of the desk “I want to say that I love the Ark Angel and being your chief Engineer, it has been so much fun and I look at this ship and crew as an extended family…However, once we get back in range of the Subspace comms network, I got a new posting offer, Heading up a team at the Jupiter shipyards and leading the team which will be trying to redesign and rebuild the Utopia Planitia yards! I just wanted to inform you…That I have decided I will be taking this new posting, and Stepping down as your Chief Engineer!” she said sadly showing the captain the Padd with the posting offer on it.

Giving the captain a moment to look at and respond to the news she added “My wife is part of why I am choosing this…She....She has been wanting me to settle down in a place where we can more easily live together and maybe even start a family up at the same time…” she said a wistful smile on her muzzle
