Nearby on one of the loungers laying out a large silver-green towel was the ship Commodore Drudoc. She wore a quite alluring one piece suit of a deep maroon color that only complemented her already amble feminine figure but also her well muscled and toned body. After settling onto the lounger, the elder Romulan took out a PADD and seemed to begin to either work on it or do something else related to it.

V’alura laughed again, this laugh more honest and carefree, “Hey girls!” She called to Tel’eck and her friends, giving them a friendly wave. She also spied Drudoc and waved to her but it seemed the other woman was more focused on her PaDD than watching others romp about the pool. V’alura regarded their captain for a moment, seemingly lost in thought.

Tel’eck waved back, about to say something when one of her friends splashed water into her face, making her splutter and go back to the water attacking. Drudoc of course did not notice Valura’s wave due to her attention focused on her PADD. Meanwhile Tel’eck had gotten a bit more physical as did her two other friends did too. The human girl was trying to slow down Tel’eck’s agile movements in the water to give the other girl a chance to dunk Tel’eck, which seemed to be the focus of the game. “..Oh we are SO going to dunk you good this time Tel’eck!” The first girl said, trying to keep the teens focus on her. Meanwhile the other girl was trying to slowly and stealthily get up on Tel’eck’s blind side for the dunk.

Luna put off a wing to block a wayward splash. She smiled at first until she noticed the girls trying to drowned each other. ” Wow Hold on stop girls!” Luna said with alarm.

All three girls stopped their playing and wrestling looking at Luna in confusion....

” Tel’eck are you ok.” She said more gently. The turned to glare at the other girls. ” What were you girls thinking that’s very dangerous,” Luna said. Her reaction was indicative.

Tel’eck looked a bit at Luna like she had grown a second head, “..Uh yes?” she said.

The other girls blinked, then looked down shyly, “..We’re sorry, we....we were just playing..” they both mumbled.

Thankfully Tel’eck spoke up, “..Uh Miss Luna, we were just playing? I don’t know if you never have seen such, but us kids and teens or anyone really splash and try to dunk people in pools, its like a way to show superiority or something..” she said.

Drudoc had glanced up at the conversation and halting to the young teen’s rough housing, but seeing nothing was really amiss returned her attention to her PADD.

” Oh,” luna said Turning bright red.
” I’m sorry Girls, no iv not been around many children your game looked dangerous. Thank you for explaining. You girls have fun now” Luna said returning to V’alaura.

” I feal silly now. Did you know that was a game kids play” She asked her fact still red with imbarisment.

V’alura smiled comfortingly, “It’ll be alright. You saw something you believed was dangerous but now you know they’re only playing. Mistakes happen and neither they or you are any worse for it.” She said. V’alura had a reputation aboard the ship as a “mother hen” (especially towards her scientists) and it was times like this where she really lived up to that reputation. “Why don’t we give them more space to play?” V’alura gently kicked her legs to carry her and her pool float closer to the edge of the pool, which also brought her closer to where Drudoc sat.

Luna nodded and smiled. ” I agree” She said following V’alura.

“Drudoc!” V’alura called out to the other woman, “Don’t tell me you came to the pool just to work? Come on! Take a five-minute break and chat with us. Sit on the ledge and soak your feet for a bit at the least!”
