OOC: Note with this post this ends the current sim! While you’re all free to continue wrapping up loose ends in any main sim threads the end results should more or less match what I am indicating below, thank you and hope you all enjoyed this sim!

It was three days later, and the Ark Angel returned to its home port at Starbase 243. Commodore Andone spent a good day and a half in a debriefing with Starfleet Command and probably others, going over their encounter with the strange alien life form and its outcome. When all was said and done the issue was concluded as being resolved and no sign of the creature in the area formerly known as The Warrens was present so far. Further no signs of any ships lost there or the systems that had been there showed up. In short it was a massive 4 light year some spanning empty region of space.

For Miz’uki with her pet blob friend on her head, thanks to further scans in Sickbay and by the information gathered of those in the biology lab, they were safely able to separate it from Miz’uki without any harm to either person. Although Miz’uki would need a day or so of hair regrowth treatments, and basic therapy to clean out her hearing to its pre-blob levels she was otherwise fine and free to return to duty after three days of rest.

For the two blobs, once the one Miz’uki had was removed and brought to the biology lab the two became one unit. After some coaxing by members of the Ark Angel crew, they were able to learn that the now 4ft sized blob, was now seemingly the only piece left of what it called ‘The Whole’. It explained that ‘The Whole’ had indeed been infected by the neural toxin that the larger 12ft one in the Arboretum had gotten sick by. ‘The Whole’ once realizing this infection was unstoppable likely it said turned in on itself consuming itself. As best as it could explain it committed what could amount to suicide to avoid far more damage then just to itself. It further related that ‘The Whole’ did indeed have the capability to not only transcend multiple points in time and space, but also different realities and time lines. When inquired about how it had existed, it replied ‘The Whole has forever existed, and yet no longer exists’. When asked what it plans to do now, the blob requested it be beamed back to space. After consultation with Commodore Andone and Starfleet Command, it was approved. Half an hour after it was sent into space, it too vanished from any sign of being present. Whether it left to some other temporal point of time, some other place, or reality, or like the rest of ‘The Whole’ committed a form of suicide is anyone’s guess.

What adventures though await the crew of the Ark Angel though would soon come in the coming weeks!
