“Is the ship safe?” she asked as she talked toward them. Three steps and suddenly Katie felt light headed and several of the trees began swirling around in almost exactly the way trees generally don’t. A moment later, Katie dropped to her knees and began to fall to her left side.

Just as Katie would collapse Stacey’s discussion and Lis’s guilt would be interrupted by the ship flashing back to red alert! The vibrations on the ship were growing worse by the second.....

“I probably would have done the same thing,” Gavin stated trying to sound supportive. From what he heard over the comm call, it sounded like they had no choice but to beam it off the ship. Doctor Stacey was able to relax for a mere second before the ship’s klaxon went off. Turning to leave the Arboretum, the Ensign spotted Hobbes laying on the ground, not realizing that she had tried to talk to the pair before collapsing.

“Lis, we need to get her to Sickbay..” The Doctor announced as he quickly walked towards her, grasping his tricorder. Kneeling down next to the Engineer, Gavin opened the tricorder and began the preliminary scans. “Call the transporter room for an emergency beam out to Sickbay!” He called out to the science officer.

Mostly Katie had some scraps, scratches and bruises being most evident. There were signs her head had probably taken a blow in passing hence her passing out.

Just as Stacey was finishing up their scan on Katie, Drudoc’s voice came over the ship wide comms =/\= All hands secure all stations, and brace yourselves for possible impacts! =/\= She added. A moment later there was the feeling of the Ark Angel making high speed maneuvers then the slight jolt of it jumping to warp for a moment or so before returning to sublight speeds. Evidently something very dire had been happening given the Captain it seems risked jumping the ship to warp speed inside the life form, which itself was a dangerous thing to plan and perform.
