In a swirl of transporter energy the away team soon rematerialized safe and sound back onto the Ark Angel in transporter room 2. However, almost immediately they were hit by the realization that something was amiss. The ship was vibrating in an unusual way and the transporter chief was looking nervous too. “..Uh you may all want to get to your stations?” he suggested, “..I think something else is afoot..” he stated. A second later the ship did indeed flash to red alert.

Just as Miz’uki would also rematerialize they still had the blob passenger on their head and in their ears, the feeling she got in general from her new ‘guest’ was one of what seemed growing confusion, panic, fear, and the like, “..The Whole has become sick! It is from your space, your time and your physical reality that this has come to pass! The Whole is.....it is....fighting The Whole, we would be sick too but we are here…” were thoughts or feelings she could feel coursing through the blob into her and then back out back to the blob in some weird united whole, the feelings were effecting her in their own way making her body’s flight/fight response become more evident.

Outwardly for those observing Miz’uki they could see the blob on her head fidget and squirm but it did not dislodge itself from the feline, if anything the impression they got was it wound itself more tightly to her.

“Wow,” Anders quipped, “Not even the transporter’s biofilters could get rid of the bloody thing, Miz’uki, are you ok?”

The NE Chief spoke about the biofilters comment, “..That blob got tagged but safety filters couldn’t remove it from Lt Miz’uki without killing her, so it left it in place. Far as biofilter scans show they’re one organism..” he said which confirmed in part what the Synthesis’s CMO had said before.
