While this was going on, Miz’uki still in a sitting position could feel the blob just passively sitting on top of her head, with the tendrils still connected quite firmly into her brain and through her ear canal to her brain there too. The feeling she got from it was the blob creature was simply observing, learning, and thinking on higher mysteries of its own self.

The blob did not react to Miz’uki’s annoyance, though the return feeling she got was of a vast mind ‘watching’ in her head. The Synthesis’s CMO came over, “..Sadly we have yet to find a way to safely remove this creature from your person. Its tendrils have fused into your brain quite literally. Unless it chooses to leave we are at a loss for now how to safely do so..” the older woman said. “..It does not appear harmful however, so good news there right?” she added in a dry attempt at humor.

Just then everyone’s comm badges chirped from a call from the Ark Angel. =/\= Andone to away team, report on your status and that of the Synthesis. =/\= She said.

Once someone gave their reports, Drudoc continued, =/\= We’ve dealt with the threat at the system’s edge. Due to cooler heads eventually prevailing we have a tentative agreement to work together to find a way out of this creature back to our respective times and places without damaging our past present or futures as the perspectives may be. We are currently holding station for now at the system’s edge and will return to orbit shortly. Currently we are dealing with another blob which fed on one of our primary systems and got a bit larger. It was then exposed to a toxin that is causing it to rage about in the ship’s Arboretum efforts are underway to either contain it and/or cure it of the toxins. Science and medical has it seems established a measure of contact with the blob we captured from the Synthesis earlier. We’ll keep you posted. =/\= Andone said.
