The NE Nurse who was on the biobed shrugged, “..I am fine. Arm is numb now since the chief doc there shot me up with some painkillers. Feel a bit light headed but otherwise I’m ok I guess?” She said.

“Well… that worked like a ruddy charm!” Anders said, the bile and sarcasm overflowing in his voice, “Commander, I’m open to suggestions at this point.”

Miz’uki had her eyes closed, seem like she had passed out after everything that had happened so far “Noooo Mommy, I Don’t want to go to school!” she moaned, Only a few moments later screaming in horror. “OWWW PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP! THEY HURT THE HORNETS MAKE THEM STOP!!!!”

As this all went on in Miz’uki’s head the blob meanwhile on her head seemed to just be content to sit on its new possession. A small bubble escaped from the top of her scalp and up through its body as she sat there.

“Any idea how long it will just… sit there?” Kyle asked, tricorder out and trying to ascertain what was going on from a scientific standpoint.

The Synthesis CMO again scanned the blob and Miz’uki. “..Who can say? Without a means to communicate with this blob thing we can only guess? Your cat lady there seems to be coming around here now, though I imagine with that blob stuff stuffed through her ear canals to her brain she probably will have a bit of a hard time hearing you so speak up I guess?” Saying so the doctor snapped her fingers around Miz’uki’s face as she would be eventually fluttering her eyes. “..Hey cat lady you with us yet?” she said.

For Kyle using the general tricorder he pretty much could confirm what the CMO had said. The blob had sent down a lot of tiny thin tendrils through Miz’uki’s scalp and nerve endings to eventually worm their way to connect with her brain. In turn the slightly larger tendrils going through her ears had also connected to her brain. At a rough guess it seemed like the blob was doing some sort of symbiosis reading of Miz’uki’s brain. He could see in general on the scans that the blob’s capacity for thinking, reactions and such were much more highly developed then they had been before they hooked up to Miz’uki. In fact many of the biological readings were showing similar firing patterns to what Miz’uki’s brain were doing. Of course someone more trained at reading 24th century medical devices like Trax probably could make more sense of this.

Trax finished dealing with the nurse he moved over to the blob and the engineer. As he attempted a more in-depth scan of both of them. Trax sighed hard at times feeling useless here. “Let’s see what we have here?” he said softly and kindly not to startle the blob or the engineer. He did several complete scans of them both to make sure he did not miss anything. “Interesting… Their mental states are almost synced, and their patterns are almost identical.” Trax said calmly to them both and the others in the room. Trax focused on the readings on his tricorder as he went through them in his head.

Masi was certain only that Miz’uki would be receiving a referral to counseling when they returned to the Ark Angel. She asked “Do you think it’s possible to communicate with it through Miz’uki, if they’re so in sync?”
