Coming around the corridor the pair found to their surprise what seemed a pair of small human twin girls of maybe 5-7 years of age. They were dressed in blue 1800s Victorian era dresses and were currently tossing a small blue ball back and forth between each other. Scans from Stacey though did not pick up any physical presence of the children or the ball. Nor for the moment did either child seem aware of the two intruders to their play time, one thing was clear they were not any of the children aboard the Ark Angel.

She taps her combadge //^\ Intruder Alert on Deck 34. Security detail with me on Deck 34. I repeat this is an Intruder Alert. //^\ She then tapped her combadge again. As she was waiting for the security team to arrive. She stands there and doesn’t do anything. She was wondering why there were two girls on board. Of the years of 5-7 years of age on board.

Ensign Logan.

At the call of an intruder alert, the entire deck went to a red alert status, in addition a second or three later the aforementioned security NEs that had been on there way to Logan arrived with type-2 phasers drawn. Both came to a skidding halt next to the other two ensigns. The strange twin girls though, no sooner had the two NEs shown up then both seemed to fade away as if they were never there or sign that they had been there. This truly was a creepy sight and in a fashion could be literal evidence of Stacey’s aforementioned ‘ghost’ joke being actually real!

She then was wondering what the heck was going on and she was just very concerned. Maybe it was her memory or she may be seeing things or something. But while she was out there and she was scared. Maybe hallucinating, maybe something else she doesn’t know. She then wonders what was going on with herself cause of everything else around her. She just doesn’t know or understand.

Ensign Logan

While he had wished Ensign Logan hadn’t called for backup, Gavin was too freaked out to have actually approached the pair to do anything useful. On one hand he was glad the two beings had vanished, though it would have been nice to make first contact with actual ghosts.

“I stand corrected.” He said turning to the security officer, “But tell me…” He added, “Has this ever happened to you before, when you heard giggles?” Doctor Stacey quickly began thinking of any reasons they could have been seeing these ‘ghosts’. He remembered hearing about how a Tyken’s Rift could cause hallucinations, but cleared that out since they weren’t experiencing any strong or aggressive emotions associated with these hallucinations. In addition, it didn’t appear that either ship had their energy drained, and didn’t explain the organic anomaly found in his earlier scans. Gavin knew he’d need more data to form a hypothesis.

Dr. Stacey Medical

“No doctor. This is the first time and I don’t understand why it’s happening. If you know why this is happening please let me know. I feel like that I’m hallucinating and I don’t know why.” She said to the doctor.

Ensign Logan

“You and me both, then,” Gavin said turning to the two security officers that just arrived.

The two NE’s that had just arrived look around then to the other two Ensigns, “..Uh sirs? Whats going on? We got a call of an intruder alert here, we’re not seeing anything, mind explaining?” They asked.

“That was my fault you guys. I was hearing something and I didn’t know what it was. The only thing that I heard was a couple of girls giggling. I don’t know what happened. It was just a complete sudden giggles. That was my fault and I do apologize.” She said to the 2 NE’s.

Ensign Logan

“You’re not going to tell them about the ghost girls?” The doctor asked in a confused tone. Ensign Stacey showed the pair his tricorder as he continued speaking. “Ensign Logan here heard some giggles, so the Cap sent me down to help investigate.” He said, “When we turned the corridor, we saw some girls throwing a ball back and forth… kind of weird I have to admit.., but that’s what we saw.” Doctor Stacey added, noting that the tricorder didn’t pick up the girls.

“We both saw them, so I doubt you’re going crazy....” Gavin said trying to assure Ensign Logan.
