Trax decided to take his scanning of the ship solo there was nothing in medical that he could find by all his scans and recordings. as he started to check on the environmental control section and checking the computers there. As he casually scanned the ship section by section location by location. Trax was glad to be out of medical with all the prying eyes and questioning staff. Trax checked his tricorder to see if there was plenty of space for continued scanning of the ship which he checked he was fine. As he tried to dig for answers and scan other items on the ship medical-related along with scanning the areas around him. “This is like looking for a needle in the haystack… ” He said quietly to himself. As he moved slowly to make sure he did not overlook anything. His mind was scanning the crew casually to see if there was anything that he might pick up in guilt to concerns he might help him point the way to the answers. He sighed softly as he took a deep breath as he continued on his course of the investigation.

Mentally speaking in those few he passed on B deck of the Synthesis nothing stood out as being ‘odd’ to him. The crew he passed were curious, maybe a little anxious or confused by his presence and what he was doing or why he was here, but otherwise everything seemed on the up and up.

Suddenly as he rounded a bend in the corridor on B deck, he would be broken from his thoughts and scans, but a ‘squelching’ slimily like sound coming from the turbolift doors ahead of him. As he looked a small 2 inch sized green blob slithered out of the crack in the door to the floor with lightning speed. It slithered up the wall and in a span of 5 seconds had covered the 50 feet distance from the shaft to him. In a bounding glide the blob launched itself off the wall, and over his shoulder attaching to another wall and then bounding again down the corridor to starboard heading in the direction of the Synthesis’s transporter room it seemed.
