“The blotch is organic and may not be limited to exterior surfaces. Or engineering equipment,” Katie said. She glanced back at Miz’uki, and took a deep breath. She had jumped into the deep end and there was no point in stopping now. “It is possible that other systems on the ship are also impacted including your instruments. And possibly the ship’s personnel.”

“Well let’s get this thing out of your system asap I wonder Hobbes can you send your scans to the Ark Angel Transporter room and see if they can get a lock on it?” she suggested

“Of course,” Katie said as she started to set-up the links between her tricorder and Ark Angel’s main computers. “I’m not certain how much good it will do the Transporter crew. They do need some time to lock on and as fast as this … thing vanished and reappeared, they may not be able to transport it.”

Katie wondered if transporting whatever this was into deep space would actually work. The red light flashed on her tricorder indicating the data transfer was complete. A few taps and the Transporter team was alerted that there was data waiting for them.

“Done, sir.”

With the transfer complete it took a bit for information to process when a reply finally came from NE Bunkins =/\= Ma’ams? We got your information and we think we got a target to track, but it seems to be two targets now. They’re both moving fast, one to the port side of their E deck heading for some of the JO/Non-com quarters there. The other is in a turbolift shaft moving up it seems. Problem is its phasing and fast movement is preventing a transporter lock. The computer no sooner pings on a partial lock then it shifts before it or we can initiate even an emergency transport. Closest person to the target on E deck is Lt Belmont..=/\= He said
