Finally the Ark Angel had arrived at Starbase 243. It had been years since Remon had seen her. He had watch her dock on the feeds from his LCARs terminal. It filled him with a strange sense of apprehension.

Last time he was on the Angel, there had been an attack. He played a roll in stopping it, even got a medal. Now, after so long away he did not know how to feel. He was called away shortly after the ceremony. Family issues.

For years he stalled coming back. Finally the itch got the better of him. He packed his bags at the age of 35 and re-enlisted.

He typed his access codes into his terminal.
