Masi weighed and considered. What to say, in case they can get back to when they come from. But if they can’t, or if they were missed, it may be better to have a good explanation. “Captain, I’m sure you can understand not wanting to cause too much alarm before you need to. But you may be due some information. You’re currently where the Synthesis should be, but not when. It’s been a long time since any one’s heard from you, the ship was presumed lost. Now here you are, and we’ve caught a distress signal you haven’t sent yet. You can see why that’s cause for concern.”

”..Your words, make it sound like you’re from the future then..” he stated more as fact then a question.
Rubbing his hand through his hair, the Captain seemed in thought a moment. “..You are right though, I am concerned. The fact that we haven’t encountered anything unusual on our trip here or until your arrival that would merit anything amiss is concerning. Not to mention the idea that I am to send a distress call that hasn’t happened..” Then he seemed to consider something looking back to the XO. “..Is there any information you have sifted through that would indicate you yourselves were here when the distress call got sent?” He asked.
“As far as I’m aware, no. But I can’t rule anything out right now. I can’t rule out that I just contaminated a timeline with information you might’ve slept easier without.” Masi chuckled. “When I was a ship’s counselor, I never had to make these choices.”
V’alura took a step back, and half-turned away from the conversation between the Synthesis captain and the AA’s XO. She tapped her commbadge and spoke quietly so as to not interrupt the other conversation. =^=Belmont to Temporal Lab. Greetings my hardworking scientists, how are things going over there on the AA? Have you been able to uncover any new information?=^= V’alura paused, waiting for her team’s response.

=^= Doctor Stacey here, Lieutenant.=^= Gavin stated when the comm came through. =^= If you have your PaDD on you, I’m going to transfer some data to you.=^= The Medical Officer stated. Gavin clicked on the data transfer option on his PaDD and found the Science Chief’s name.=^= I was running some scans on the Synthesis crew and found that there was some type of organic anomaly in the computer core!=^= Gavin exclaimed as he started the transfer process. =^= If you do have your PaDD, you should see the data I’m sending to you. It was a brief occurrence, but long enough to see that something was there.=^=

V’alura did have her PaDD, a smaller model that easily attaches at the hip for easy carrying. She scanned the data as it came over while listening to Stacey’s explanation. An organic anomaly in the computer core? Her shock came as a shallow, sucked breath and wide eyes. Then, gone, her expression and body posture relaxed and calm. The benefits of a past career as a professional actress. =^=This is quite the find. Thank you for your report, En.” V’alura said, her tone calm and casual. =^= Keep me updated and if you would, please relay this information to our engineering team here on the Synthesis.=^=
=^= I copy, Lieutenant.=^= Gavin called out, ending the communication.
An organic anomaly. . . Crap. Where was the computer core on this ship again? Oh! Fiddlesticks, she knew she should have taken a look at the Synthesis specs before headed over here. V’alura rejoined the other two, while handing her PaDD to Masi. Normally V’alura kept her thoughts shielded but for now she kept her mind open for Masi to telepathically read. The PaDD still displayed the data sent by the AA. With a smile, V’alura addressed Dambrine, “Captain, I know I said I’d like to swing by the science labs but I think I’d like to see the computer core first.”
