OOC - I’ve never been thrilled with working multiple timelines at once but…

As the doors slid open, Katie caught her first glimpse of the Ark Angel’s Engineering Compartment. On one hand it was much the same as the one on Challenger but on the other, it was much larger. The sounds and vibrations were much the same and yet different on a fundamental level. A young, human engineer, she assumed, approached her.

“May I help you?”

“Yes. I’m Ensign Katherine Hobbes, reporting for duty,” Katie said handing the young woman her PADD. The woman accepted it and gave it a quick glance.

“Ah, yes. We’ve been expecting you and at least one other new officer,” the woman said.

The woman after looking the PaDD over directed Katie over to what was seemingly a Second Engine core but this one completely different from the normal Warp cores that Katie was probably used to seeing Miz’uki was bent over and working on calibrating something making sure the core was ready to go at a moment notice she had a tool wrapped in her tail while she continued to work
