As the young ensign went to the holodeck to set up Paris in the holodeck, she then walked in and sat down. She started to wait for the Lt. cause she wanted to make it romantic so they can have some romantic time together. She thought about it for a bit and she paged her //^\ Lt. Belmont you still want to spend time in the holodeck. The program is set up if you’d like to spend time. //^\ she paged.

Ensign Logan

=^= Of course! I’m on my way right now, just had to wrap some things up in the science labs.=^= And, true to her word, V’alura arrived several minutes later. At the sight of Paris extending beyond the holodeck doors, she sighed with a dreamy expression upon her face. Paris. It’s been too long. She strode forward, temporarily lost in old memories until she caught sight of Ashley.

V’alura settled into a seat beside Ashley, close enough for their shoulders to brush together. “It’s been so long since I’ve last been to Paris,” She said, “Years, really, it feels so nostalgic to be back, even if only in holodeck form.” The program was impressive, and V’alura could pretend as though she were sitting in the real deal.

Lt JG Belmont

“I agree. It’s been like 3-4 years for me. The last time I went was when I was in the academy. It has always been the nicest place I’ve ever been. What about you? How long has it been for you?” She asked V’Alura. She then smiled and moved on of her hands onto V’Alura’s lap.

V’alura hummed thoughtfully. “Gosh, its been nine years. I went to Bordeaux to tour the vineyards and ended my trip with three days in Paris.” She flushed slightly as Ashley’s hand settled on her lap, “I should tell you. . .” V’alura never particularly liked this talk with potential friends or lovers. In the past people have gotten weird about it, or became overly aware of not touching her or being touched in return. “I don’t know if you this about me or not but I am half vulcan and touch-telepathic. It’s strongest with direct skin contact, and through my hands. With that contact I will know what you’re thinking and feeling. If you’re not comfortable with that I have gloves I can wear.”

She didn’t mind the gloves, they were certainly easier than relying on willpower and her rather meager mental shielding.

Lt JG Belmont

“I have absolutely no problem with that honestly. It’s nice to know someone that knows that. And besides. I am a Trill.” She said. As she smiled. “I too can tell what people are feeling and what not. Trills are also telepathic but only through mind.” She said.

OOC: Just an fyi Chris, Trills are not telepathic to other races, only between their symbioint if they got one.
