“Uh… good afternoon.” He replied, unaccustomed to being addressed unless his specific skills were needed. “Can I help you Commander?”

“Why’s that sir?”
“Well, I’m a little bit nervous about meeting the Captain. Any advice?”
“I suppose the best way to impress is to avoid tardiness, sir. If you don’t mind my saying so.”
“No, you’re absolutely correct. Thank you chief.” She nodded politely and walked out.

Masi walked down the halls, trying to note their general details and the mood of the ship. She came aboard and found herself before too long standing at the entrance to the Captain’s ready room. Anticipation builds anxiety. With moderate hesitation, she pressed the chime and waited.

Turning she would find an NLt from starbase 243’s repair teams was there. “..The Captain is currently at the post mission party Commander, I am sure you are welcome to it as well being part of the crew.” He said.
