After the buzz Drudoc’s voice spoke from within. =/\= Enter! =/\= She said sounding a bit testy for some reason.

When Miz’uki did she would find the source of the Captain’s annoyance being the presence of Q. Turning with a grin Q smiled benignly at the chief engineer. “..Ah my fair little kitten is here! No doubt to ingratiate you my dear Andone with wild theories and plans to get home. Plans that will no doubt fail and could bring ruination to you and your ship and crew.” He said looking to Andone thought who just crossed her arms about her chest at first.

”..I trust my crew and ship Q, more then I trust you and the Continuum and your motives. We are not your toys to play with for ‘debates’..” She said with and icy tone.

”..A pity you think this is all a game! Perhaps while we debate you could learn something, sadly it seems you and your crew are not open to such things for now. So I will leave you be. Ta Ta!” He said waving then whisked out of sight.

Turning then with a nose pinch Drudoc looked to the chief engineer. “..Please tell me you have theorized options to get home?” She said.

Seeing Q she let out a low angry hiss but said no more then he disappeared while it did little to calm her down still she centered herself “There is only one option that does not cross any lines…as I am sure we do not want to be known as a Second Equinox” she said sitting down “I had thought about using the reality bubbles to make a Flea’tan array or a series of Graviton launch gates however given the fact it seems like using the bubbles would be killing a lifeform” she said laying out the two non options

Drudoc nodded in agreement. “..I concur, Lieutenant, continue what else do you got then?” She asked.

“The only thing that would get us home with our morals and honor intact is making the conversions to a slipstream drive and use that we will have to take breaks in dark space between Galaxies but it is our best chance” she finished laying everything out for the captain

Drudoc looked over the specifications. “..Even with Slipstream it would take us…” Drudoc pulled up a side panel to do the calculations. Well over 5000 years to get home.” Drudoc said. “..There’s also the factor that the bigger a ship the higher the risk of failure occur. I agree this seems our only option if we’re committed to not playing ‘ball’ with Q and the Continuum. Is there anything else?” She inquired.

Miz’uki would recall Cailan’s suggestion of a ‘thought drive’ though that would involve the loss of protoform life too in a fashion. Unless they could harvest the energies of a naturally dying protoform.

Well Ensign Weir is wanting to experiment with the bubbles and coming up with some kind of ‘Thought Drive’ This has the problem of using the protoform life as well I told him to look into it but warned him about not doing anything that would be crossing any lines I just hope he listened to me…” she sighed clearly none of their ideas were working out like it should at the moment “Heck maybe if we show Q that we really are just going to ignore him and the continuum Maybe he will throw a tantrum and then snap us back home Though in that case I really fear him turning to another Federation starship instead for all of this nonsense” she said scratching the top of her scalp in frustration
