Dinui nodded gently, “Thank you for clarifying that for me.” she looked at the notes that Ensign Logan left her and her own notes thus far, before she turned her attention back to Bob and Bill, “You do understand that the Captain has no more power in our situation than you do, Q moved all of us as easy as a wind scatters petals in the wind.” she said evenly though she was curious to see just what they thought the Captain could have done about the situation.

There was a long quiet pause from either NE, the feeling Dinui got was both probably knew that but both in the heat of the moment just were too worked up at the time of their past drastic actions to care. Neither though seemed to want to voice this in thought or vocally presently. Each sighed in turn then returned to scrubbing the cells for a few minutes.

Finally NE Bill spoke breaking the uncomfortably silence, “..We know that now ma’am, but at the time it just seemed the Captain didn’t even TRY to do anything! We panicked.” He explained.

Dinui nodded gently, “Is there anything else you want to say before I send my report to the Captain?” she asked gently looking from Bill to Bob, she wanted to see if either wanted to take the chance to explain further but as near as she could tell, they had over reacted to the situation, unfairly blamed the Captain but they seemed to be in fully stable now. True they would still need follow up and general check in but neigher appeared to want to follow through on their previous threats of ending their own lives. More indepth sesson in better setting would bring out more details she was sure but for the moment. She felt they were more embarrassed and ashamed of their actions than actually wanting to do harm to themselves or others.

“When you are finished with your punishment and able to return to your duties I want set up sessons with you both.” she wanted to keep up with them both to make sure this type of over reaction did not happen again for them. She also felt that the punishment was a valid point for them to finish and it would allow them to learn and hopefully grow a bit too.

Dinui nodded softly and then headed out of the room, she waved at the guard on duty, “I am going to my office to finish my report on the evaluation. If there is anything that arises let me know. Otherwise I will get the report ready for the Captain.” she said lightly to the guard on Duty, and waited in case they had anything to add before she left the brig entirely.l
