“Bob and Bill is the Ark Angel your first official assignment since graduation from the academy?” Denooy asked since the first two times it appeared they hadn’t understood her question so she rephrased it differently hoping for a response that would give her more information on the pair. As it was thus far, she didn’t see why they had gone to such extreme measures with threatening their own lives because of what the Q had done with the ship and crew, it was not the Captain’s fault. If any were to be blamed it would the Q in question but previous encounters in records suggested it was unwise to do so. The Q where as unpredictable as any other race but they were in their own way still prone to morals, if the crew figured out the ‘supposed lesson’ the Q wanted them to find out they should be returned to their previous point of origin, unless the Q was actually messing with them. There were many things that could tie in with the whole situation. Going over it all would take time.

Dinui nodded gently, “Thank you for clarifying that for me.” she looked at the notes that Ensign Logan left her and her own notes thus far, before she turned her attention back to Bob and Bill, “You do understand that the Captain has no more power in our situation than you do, Q moved all of us as easy as a wind scatters petals in the wind.” she said evenly though she was curious to see just what they thought the Captain could have done about the situation.

There was a long quiet pause from either NE, the feeling Dinui got was both probably knew that but both in the heat of the moment just were too worked up at the time of their past drastic actions to care. Neither though seemed to want to voice this in thought or vocally presently. Each sighed in turn then returned to scrubbing the cells for a few minutes.

Finally NE Bill spoke breaking the uncomfortably silence, “..We know that now ma’am, but at the time it just seemed the Captain didn’t even TRY to do anything! We panicked.” He explained.

Dinui nodded gently, “Is there anything else you want to say before I send my report to the Captain?” she asked gently looking from Bill to Bob, she wanted to see if either wanted to take the chance to explain further but as near as she could tell, they had over reacted to the situation, unfairly blamed the Captain but they seemed to be in fully stable now. True they would still need follow up and general check in but neigher appeared to want to follow through on their previous threats of ending their own lives. More indepth sesson in better setting would bring out more details she was sure but for the moment. She felt they were more embarrassed and ashamed of their actions than actually wanting to do harm to themselves or others.
