As Trax was relaxing unexpectedly there was the ‘beep beep’ from the console’s comm unit. Oddly the comm unit was showing a pick up of a signal outside the ship, not internally, nor was it on a Federation band frequency or other known band.

Trax walked over to the console. As he tapped the console to open a channel as he started recording the channel as well. “Hello?” Trax said calmly. This was very unusual, to say the least.

A beep occured as the line connected. Before a male sounding voice came through. =/\= Greetings sentient! We see and hear you are new to this region of space, and have traveled very far. May we interest you in enlightenment? =/\= The voice said.

Trax was a bit taken by the voice that came in through the communications system. =/\= “Enlightenment? =/\= Trax said questioning the request. as he muted the channel as he tapped his combadge. =/\= “Bridge this is sickbay we have an incoming com channel coming through sickbay comm system asking if we want enlightenment?” =/\= Trax informed the bridge. to let them know about the unusual transmission. As he closed the combadge channel then reopened the =/\= “Yes we are new to this region of space. What are you meaning by enlightenment?” =/\= Trax asked calmly to hope we have a clearer understanding. He was beginning to wonder if this might be a ploy from his mother but he tried not to think such thoughts.
