Trax wanted to get more familiar with the new ship he was on and if there was an emergency he could get where he needed to go as he walked to the nearest turbo lift as he entered. ” Deck 45 ” Trax spoke calmly as the computer beeped as the lift started to take him to the bowels of the ship. He was going to start in the crawl spaces just below deck 45 and he would slowly move his way up from deck to deck and crawlspace to crawl space. He used his trusty Padd to help him move along the ship and section to section to learn an understand the ship better along with the crew he may never normally meet. As he started in the crawlspace just under deck 45. As he finished the crawl areas below 45 He moved to the after part of the deck on 45. “hello there” as he passed and attempted to socialize with the others of the lower decks.

“Hey,” A diminutive officer responded in his bouts of offering amicable greetings to the people surrounding him. Her stature remained incredible slim and tiny, as she barely reached above four foot eleven. Pale, porcelain skin went along with pale white hair, denoting the albino nature of this near-dwarfed woman. However, even in her idiosyncrasies, her smile never wavered. “What are you up to, doctor? If you don’t mind me asking?”

As he looked over the officer over a moment before he responded to her question. “I am trying to learn more about this ship and her crew as I am giving myself a self-guided tour to make myself more familiar with the ship and crew.” Trax commented with a small polite sim. “And how are you, Counselor?” Looking at the striking features of the counselor. He noted that she was human but she was different than most humans. Because of her size and appearance. “Please forgive me, Counselor! I don’t mean to be staring at you. You are different than most humans I have encountered. I don’t mean that in a bad way but more like a good way you are very strikingly handsome.” Trax could not find that right word to convey his wishes better than handsome.

“Do you mind if I tag along? It seems a good idea to gain insight on the ship and crew you will be working with.” Delarosa smiled, agreeing with his efforts about the tour. She wondered how long the good doctor had been on the ship, if he was in need of a tour still. Or, if the busy life of a doctor had gotten in the way of being able to participate in anything more than the obstruction of disease via hypos or the generalize healing a doctor was known for. “Are you still new to the Angel, Doctor Suder?” For a second, she seemed dumbfounded to his words. Was she to be amused or flattered? She found herself at a state of both, with of He unique terminology he had chosen to go with. “I will put you down on my list, for the first man to call me ‘handsome.’” She winked, a smile of to say she was being facetious and merely messing with him. “In all seriousness, thank you.”

“Not at all counselor I can use the company.” Trax Said with a small polite smile. “I haven’t been on Ark Angel very long. But I figured I would be wiser to know thy ship better. And her crew.” Trax said as he slowed started walking forward on deck 45 finally their way to the forward lift as he tapped the call button.

“I cannot say that you are wrong,” Delarosa offered a queer grin, tinged with emotions that were somewhat unreadable. Many might describe it as apathy, but she simply found it was the proper control of what she wanted to put out. Something many counselors had learned to master.

Alex was walking through the passageways and heard the familiar two voices from around the bend before him. Walking around the corner, he saw Lt. jg Delarosa and Ens. Suder speaking. He nodded to each as he approached and said “Lieutenant. Ensign. What brings you out and about on such a fine day?” he said with a grin, knowing full well that the climate controls remained steady throughout the ship and each day was identical to the next.

Trax heard a new voice asking them a question he knew it was familiar but he kept the urge to probe before asking. “Hello, Sir! Well giving myself a self-guided tour of the ship to get more familiarity to the ship and her crew. and the counselor her just asked to join me on my little tour.” Trax said with a smile. “Is everything ok sir?”

Cochrane smiled and said “Of course, Ensign. I typically take any open time in my schedule to walk the ship, see what I can first hand. If you don’t mind, I’d be happy to accompany you both. I haven’t been here long, but I am familiar with the ship and would be happy to clarify anything you may across that you are not familiar with. We can consider it ‘cross-training’.” he added with a chuckle.

“That would be fine sir More the merrier.” Trax said wi a small smile. “Can always use clarification sir.” As the lift arrived for them to go to the next section. As they entered the lift. Deck 44.” As he waited for the others to enter the lift car.

“You lead, Ensign. I am happy to answer any questions you may have along the way.” Cochrane said with a nod and smile.

Delarosa has fallen quiet, giving on a faint nod of consideration and respectful acknowledgement to the Executive Officer. Quietly, she awaited the Ensign’s impending leadership.

After everyone got into the lift car as the doors closed. The car took off for Deck 44 which took no time to arrive. “Shall we start from the aft section or Foward section?Sir?” as Trax kindly asked kindly to the others that were present.

“You’re the tour guide here, Ensign. I’m just here for the question and answer section.” the XO said with a smile.

“Well then I guess we can start from the aft section and work our way forward. ” Trax commented as he looked over to wards the counselor noting the change in her. He was going to say something but decided not too as he headed down the corridor after exiting the lift. “Are the shuttle bays 3 and for used very often? Sir?” Trax asked calmly to the officer as they walked along deck 44.

Roux glanced between them, listening less to figure out where they were going, than she was to denote the physical changes in their movements or body language, throughout the conversation. It was a way to see how officers would act in lax environments, when not stress by the natures of their jobs or otherwise.

Delarosa noticed the silence that had fallen between the officers, and chose to find a way to break it. “Is this your first assignment to a Starship, Doctor?” She asked, curiously. A part of her wondered if he was fresh from the Academy, or if he had been on a starship before. Oddly enough, this had been one of the questions she hadn’t asked him, during their brief assessment.

“the mater of fact counselor It is my first assignment to this ship.” Trax commented softly. “I figured i would start a tradition to tour the ship so that i would know the ship and crew better.” Trax said with a polite smile as he looked at the counselor and xo.

“Well, may this be a pleasant assignment for you, doctor.” Roux remarked, nothing short of a polite nature to her gentle tone. “I have to give you that one, a good tradition to begin.”

OOC: just bumping this for the XO who should be back in the next day or 3!

GM CockRoach

OOC: I’m back, I’m back. Everyone can relax. lol

IC: The XO looked at the Doctor and said “That is a fine idea, Mr. Suder. I may have to steal that myself going forward.” he said with a smile of genuine approval.

Cochrane, XO

“Thank you, sir !” As Trax beamed with a nice smile on his face. “your more than welcome sir!” as he waited for the counselor to answer him. Along with the xo response to the shuttle bay questions. He moved on to the next several levels he knew they would respond when they were ready too. As he moved on as they left deck 44 as they casually walked through the engineering sections of 43 through to 39 all was familiar to Trax as the moved along. “Wow, I was not of a sickbay 3! Is it usually closed and offline?” Trax wondered as he asked the others.

Delarosa looked to Cochrane for the answer, as she was just as new as the good Doctor.

“Reserved for overflow casualties during combat operations. Allows for greater flexibility in triage and treatment, I believe is the justification used. Sounds solid to me, but I am no doctor, Doctor.” Cochrane said with a grin.

Cochrane, XO

“That makes logical since due to it saves the hassel to change over the holdeck and cargo bays too. but its not needed unless something massive happened.” Trax commented back quickly slightly blushing. “I should have known that “ He thought to himself as he walked again. As the finished off the level as he tapped the call button to the turbo lift car. As they waited calmly for the car to arrive. As they moved into the lift and moved to deck 38.

OOC: Going on LOA, so I’m going to have Delarosa slip away. C:

IC: Delarosa checked the time upon a nearby chronometer, realizing she had an appointment. “Oh dear! I’m so sorry to interrupt you two, but I must be going.” She offered a wry smile to try and hide the sheepishness of her own forgetfulness. “Do enjoy the remainder of your tour; I hope to catch up with you two, soon!” She waved, bading them farewell before disappearing down the hall, as if she hadn’t even been there, before.

Trax was going to say something but stopped. “Well, I guess it is just us sir?” Trax said with a polite smile as it faded as fast as it appeared. As they continued there tour of deck 38.

Ensign Trax Suder JO Doctor

“Indeed, Doctor. I hope that doesn’t lessen your interest in the ship.” Cochrane said with a friendly chuckle.

Cochrane, XO

“Not at all, sir! All is good we can move on from here.” Traz said calmly to his xo. As they made there way. through deck 38 as the quietly moved through the decks as the made it to deck 30. “So what do you think so far?”
